i got to go to training camp this year and meet the Cowboys and ride on the Cowboys bus and all kinds of amazing things.. well, when i did, i met the guy who played Rowdy.. what a really nice guy.. i was kinda neutral on Rowdy before, i could see where you guys would think he was annoying, but at the same time, he was a fun mascot for the kids.. but after meeting the real guy, i really liked Rowdy.. so consider me in the minority that hopes he comes back..

ps: would you believe that Rowdy is a black guy probably in his early 30's? i don't know why, but that was not at all what i was expecting!

Now that's an interesting factoid, I don't think anyone would expect.

Like you, I'm pretty neutral on Rowdy. If he comes back, he comes back. If he doesn't, he doesn't.

However, it is odd that he kinda went away with no mention of him.

I'm a Mets fan and i get the MBL package. I wish i had a dime for every small child i've seen Mr.Met make cry. I'm betting any child under 3 or 4 is the same way with Rowdy. He is creepy.

There was an article in the Dallas Observer about Rowdy. They showed a picture of the guy under the mask. I thought Rowdy was great and so did my kid. I'm all for bringing him back.

yeah, i wasn't expecting it at all..

and it is odd that he went away with no mention of him.. a bit sad too, since i met him just a few weeks ago and he was such a nice guy.. i wonder if maybe he is still with the team in another capacity? cause he was hanging out with everyone and in good spirits.. seems odd they'd have him around for training camp and then get rid of him once the season starts..
