Hey, how'd that happen???
You were right, I do know football. That is why I know he is no longer the WR he thinks he is. I assume you need proof. That is the easy part.stilltheguru;3272864 said:I thought you knew football? If he's a has been what in gods name is Roy Williams? I mean really. Don't talk to me about age because when you say he's a has been you are saying that he can't play the game of football anymore. As if he can't start for a contender. Is that what you are saying legend of Cowboyzone?

2007...81 receptions, 1355 yards, 15 TDs
2008...69 receptions, 1052 yards, 10 TDs
2009...55 receptions, 829 yards, 5 TDs
Oh, look at that, his production dropped in every single category. Where I come from we call that declining production.
On the other hand you brought up Roy Williams.
2008...36 receptions, 430 yards, 2 TDs
2009...38 receptions, 596 yards, 7 TDs
This despite reports that there were chemistry issues with the QB. Yet his production still rose in every category.
I bet there will be improvement again in 2010 barring injury.
You're welcome.

Hostile;3272873 said:Yes, he is good enough to be a 2nd or 3rd option WR, but his ego won't let him accept it.
His skills are declining. He seems to be the only one who can't acknowledge that and accept a lesser role. That is why he is gone and why our Offense is better without him.
I keep repeating, I don't hate him. Either you'll figure that out or you won't.
stilltheguru;3272966 said:Thanks for changing up your previous stance. You went from saying he was washed up and a has been headed to the unemployment line to him not being what he once was. We agree on that. Don't think he can't help a team in a big way though.

zrinkill;3273063 said:On your other banned account, during the off season, you said Owens would thrive in buffalo now that he has a real QB (trent edwards).
But then again ...... we all know what you are.

Get them a couple more wins over the season before? Possibly.
Help them get into the playoffs? Maybe.

zrinkill;3273269 said:T.O. does not suck as a player .....
His fans do ..... I will admit that.
But I would love to still have someone with the same physical skills that Owens has ...... but his declining skills (even though they are still above average) are not worth the circus he brings with him.
If he could shut his mouth and play nice with the adult on this team ..... he would still be here.
He could not ..... so he is gone.
It is not Romo's fault, its not Witten's fault, its not Garrett's fault, its not Wade's fault, its not Stephen's fault, its not Jerry's fault.
Its Terrell Owens fault.
