If the Commanders do indeed go to cap hell. And I hope they do. Which players would you want to see in a Cowboys Uniform? My pick would be in this order
Jansen, Samuels, Arrington.

None of those guys need to get cut, unless they refuse to sign a renegotiaton. They're more likely to cut guys such as Matt Bowen, Walt Harris and James Thrash.

Arrington if he agrees to play within a sytem. He would be a huge upgrade over Fujita. Great Speed, lays the wood, and can rush the passer.

Persoanally I hope the entire Commanders organization folds never to be heard from again. That would be neat.

I would take Marcus Washington in a heartbeat.

Don't think they'll be getting rid of him, though.

With the mention of Jansen and Samuels, the title of this thread should be, 'Which Commander starters would you want?'. Do some of you really think that those pro-bowl caliber linemen will be cut?!

The best players that the Skins will release may be:

Walt Harris
James Thrash
Matt Bowen
Cory Raymer
Warrick Holdman
Taylor Jacobs

Brandon Noble (to retire)

And lets not forget one that may actually interest the Cowboys... John Hall.

SkinsandTerps....I was thinking about that earlier today. Another ex-Jet who played under Parcells, and fills our biggest need.

Makes a lot of sense, if Hall is healthy. I foresee him as a potential casualty that signs with the Cowboys the next day.

Hall's injury last year does concern me a little. But he has to be better than what we had last year or a couple of unknowns in Suisham or Vinsainter (sp?)

Adam-

Any chance you have enough information on the Skin's cap situation to give us the actual lowdown? I know there have been a lot of articles lately but I know when it comes to the cap you're the final word.

Thanks!

John Hall sucks...even his extra points make me nervous. Not to mention he can't kick off deeper than the 10 yard line.

I would love for him to sign with the Cowboys!

Whats the deal with Arrington? Do the Commanders actually save money by keeping him?

I'd take Samuels. Always take the good left tackle over the good right tackle.

I think the big problem with our O-Line is that the tackles are probably not playing at the position best suited for them.

Flozell is a pretty good left tackle, but would probably be a great right tackle. Torrin Tucker has no business being a left tackle and is better off being a right tackle or a guard. And the jury is still out for me on Petitti, but he may be better off at guard as well.

By getting a good left tackle, they could move Flozell to right tackle and you would see a dramatic improvement in the running game.

Parcels and his tackles...Why is it that he had Rob P., who played his entire career at LT in college playing RT...and Tucker, who started 14 games the previous seaon at RT, playing LT.

No wonder I line was confused last year.
