Pretty cool sentiment from a legend like Barry.

Regarding the thread title, there is a comparison to be made. Leading up to the draft I did a side-by-side between Deuce and Barry, they are very comparable in size, speed, quickness, agility, vision, and knack for finding daylight. Deuce has the edge as a receiver. Barry may have the best balance I've ever seen, which is what made him one of, if not the absolute best. I'm not going to say DV is as good a prospect as BS, but it's hard to not be excited about seeing that type of player in this offense.

Yep.

We just don't know if that means he'll be a dynamic small RB....or if it will mean that it will be a tiny RB that got drafted to play in the NFL because he was real quick in college, and then in his first real NFL game got hit so hard by a 340 grown man that his spinal column popped out of his ear hole and never amounted to anything.

Time will tell.....but whichever way happens u will be right!

"This guy vs. that guy" is how they promote boxing and wrestling matches.

Well that's true he's not going to be Barry Sanders but he does have moves very similar to Barry Sanders.

I think that's all people are saying his stop and go the way he turns and spins it is very similar to Barry Sanders.. However Barry could be a three down back and a lot of cases he had a little bit bigger better body to handle at the NFL defenses but it's OK to say he's had some moves the stop and go and restart the way it all in one play he can have four moves it does remind you of Barry Sanders who by the way and let's not forget lost a lot of yards behind the line of scrimmage​

as great as he was the same with Christian McCaffrey the same with saquon Barkley kamara these types of acts are always looking for the big play and sometimes they end up losing yards behind the line of scrimmage because they're not big they need to get momentum quick and get through the hole fast, so that seems to be the negative that some fans are trying to find things wrong with deuce Vaughn and saying he's gonna have some negative yards sometimes really oh I see that from a lot of back...​

but I do like what I'm seeing from deuce Vaughn he looks like he has potential to be a great role player in a running back by committee behind that starting offensive line with game planning and scheming and the starting players let's not forget he has not played with the starters yet and I'm betting we're gonna see some nice things from him when there are more holes and there are more plays that's drawn up just for him.

It's a tongue in cheek thread. It's obviously about the signed jersey but to have a little fun the title reads vs. I understand the blood in most people's faces when they saw the 2 names side by side made the obvious go away. Add the fact that anything positive about the Cowboys is met with the upmost despise on this forum.

Add that all up and we have the first 20 responses...and I just realized that everyone who already realized this realized it and the rest are equivalent to me trying to explain it to the phony spider man doll at the duck game my kid won at the fair.

precisely. I had assumed the question mark would give it away and make it obvious. But you also have to actually READ the body.....not just come in swinging.
