Which Head Coach that is available is better than Garrett right now?

This is a joke right? We've entered the land of jokes... correct?

No. The one where they averaged 26 in 5 of the first 8 games. You know... the 1-7 games?

Agreed. You definitely think it's interesting.

Nine more than seven? J/k

Like I said, one or two poor showings can skew a sample size as small as 8. It's basic stats.

The whole team sucked. They were 1-7.

Did he really just referenced the 1st game of the season to show Garrett Sabotaged Wade?...lol

Fans say things like this a lot, but the reality is that the players do consistently say they respect their HC and the team consisntently plays hard for him.

All or Nothing made it pretty clear how they felt about him, too, and it was all fairly positive.

To be fair, players usually do say they respect their current head coach and like playing for them, job security. How they really feel may be different or those that haven't played under another NFL HC doesn't have another example to compare to. I'm not saying they don't respect JG, but would be very surprised if they said it out loud if they did. Even after a player leaves a team, smart players (sorry Dez) usually say the PC things too, makes it easier to get another job.

In my experience, that’s not really the case. They’ll refrain from saying negative things, but they don’t typically say things they don’t mean. Especially when the tone in the locker room suggests otherwise. They’d just look disingenuous in front of their teammates for handing out false praise.

Kind of how when Romo left. He was clearly not happy with Garrett, but he just praised Jerry instead. When they don’t like you they just don’t say anything. When they do like you, they come out and say it.

Again, how does 1-7 = 5? More of this homer math.

Agreed. You definitely think it's interesting.

That and I know it hurts the homers.

5 being less than 8 is basic math.

Ok, so now we lump it all together? It's hard to keep track of your "rules."

When they tell how they really feel, they're "TO".

I don’t care how much you try to play dumb about the typo, your theory is still foolish you can’t run from it. It makes you look real stupid. You’ll never escape that.

I don't need to "escape" anything. I'm not the one who lied. That'd be you.

TO left after the 2008 season and never played under Garrett as HC. We were talking about current players here, though, and I didn’t mean to suggest there aren’t players Garrett has moved off the roster who don’t like him. Besides TO there’s Jesse Holley and Patrick Crayton I know of who didn’t like him.

But there are a lot of players who do say respectful things about him and who don’t have a history of being malcontents like TO does. Fans can decide for themselves who they want to believe. As long as the team plays hard and says the right things, I’m happy.

You can't use Romo as an example, that's just not in his nature and doesn't want to come across as a jerk, just going to sound like sour grapes after losing out to Dak. He may tell a different story while he's drinking with his buddies. TO did it and he gets dismissed as a lunatic with an axe to grind, which is the case but doesn't mean he isn't automatically wrong either. Just for full disclosure, I did not like TO, did not like his signing, did not like him on this team. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

June Jones. Vince Lombardi's ghost. Me. My beagle. my pet rock. Pretty much anything is better than the carrot.

Wade did. In print.

Here’s print for you...

"There was a lot of me in denial for at least the last couple of ballgames," Jones said. "But where we are right now is that we've
got the biggest challenge in the NFL and that is get a defense that
can slow them down."

Phillips, a noted defensive guru, had seen his unit fail him the past few weeks.

The defense gave up 830 yards in total offense the past two losses and there seemed to be all sorts of other issues in terms of a lack of open-field tackling, development of younger defensive players and poor coverage in the secondary.

Again, how does 1-7 = 5? More of this homer math.

No one says it does. The point was that 5 of the 8 games averaged 26 ppg.

That and I know it hurts the homers.

I doubt it's causing anyone any real harm.

5 being less than 8 is basic math.

Good point. You're really showing 'em.

Ok, so now we lump it all together? It's hard to keep track of your "rules."

Rule #215-b Sec 7-f - "lumping is completely at my discretion."

You'll notice if you read through I've consistently been saying Wade was to blame for 1-7. You're the one whose been trying to blame the offense.

I dont want to start another bash garret or who's going to be the next Head coach...

but I was thinking about this today, who's available and who's better than him right now at where he's at... I know he's been learning on the job.... most people do in this day and age, but looking at College coaches they have to learn Pro game... looking at coordinators they have to learn how to be a head coach. looking at Retreads, they have to learn how the game is played today...

so my question is simple Who could replace him & be better than him right now where he's at today with this franchise.

All of them. I don't even need to know the names.
