Roy has a personal vendetta . He even admits he hates the way he throws the red flag.

There’s some just criticism of Garrett. And there’s some positive assets he’s contributed. Roys spin is so obvious.

Wow, that is some genius stuff there. How long did it take you to figure out I hate Garrett? LOL

Yah I have an agenda. Run Garrett out of town. YOu better believe it.

Just like your agenda is to find a better QB than Dak. At least Dak is a great young talent. Garrett is a total bomb.

Your own words is that Garrett is a puppet. Yet you defend him as if he is your hero.

This is total nonsense, CL.

The 2010 team he took over was 1-7. There's no dressing up that pig. And he started the OL overhaul immediately in that next offseason. And every NFL team has good players on it. That's not how you measure a good team. You measure a good team by how many holes its got, and the 2010-2012 teams had a lot of holes.

The weakest thing you're saying here is that any of us wouldn't want an improvement over Garrett if he's replaced at HC. That's just a really dumb argument to try to make. For one, if Garrett were replaced next week, I can tell you right now I'm still not going to agree that he wasn't a good coach in Dallas. I'm going to say he's a guy who put together a couple of teams that were contenders, but he didn't get it done. I'm not going to suddenly reverse position and agree that he's secretly been a bad coach all along.

Secondly, there's not a person in the organization I wouldn't want to see replaced in a heartbeat by a more talented alternative. Just because you think a coach is doing a good job, it doesn't mean there aren't better options out there.

This is the sort of irrational take that makes seriously discussion the topic of coaching in Dallas pointless.

So how did the team go 11-6 ther year before? How did they go 5-3 the final 8 games if they were a 1-7 team?

So how do you dress up a 1-7 team? Put Romo on it. LOL

At every turn you get stone walled.

WOW. this is now sounds personal against garrett........ campo went 5-11, 5-11 and 5-11.... he sucked. since you measure coaching success by records, then this speaks volumes...you want to play fantasy coaching carousel, that's your choice....[/QUOTE]

Campo had no chance, 27% of his cap was dead money. He did Jerry a favor by running that team for three years.

Was he good, who knows, doesn't matter, the situation was impossible.

Hopefully Jason will be in the Skybox by then in Jerry Jones stadium named posthumously.

Why would you want Garrett in the skybox?

The best place for him to be would be on an NFC East rival. That would guarantee at least 5 years of mediocrity. The other place would be on his own couch. Dont want him anywhere near the Dallas Cowboys. Garrett is a cancer to this organization.

This has all been addressed earlier in the thread.

Also, you don’t appear to know what “stonewalled” means.

Because seeing him as a walk around GM I believe his greatest asset is an eye for talent ,personnel mgmt and team building.

Jerry is a cancer to this organization . Garrett is trying to save it.

He was certainly not great. I would say sucked, yes. He definitely had the least talent out of any coach of the Cowboys. NO franchise QB's. What has Garretts record been without Romo or Dak? I would wager the winning percentage is very similar.
garrett has a winning record with Romo. lets not forget that Campo had Aikman for a year....but I am sure you will say Aikman was at the end of his career...so was Romo in the end. and we found Dak under garrett.... campo found one that loved the doobie..... and Romo didn't have much talent around him for a couple of years when we rebuilt, which is something we actually did...rebuild the roster... just face it....I know you hate garrett, but campo sucked...no other word. with him, this same team garrett had would got 6-10 at best.

I know.... I mean he came up with excuses for campo, yet criticized garrett and then he says he is objective in his assessment... I mean campo for Gawd's sake.... there is not a less qualified head coach ever in the NFL than campo....ever.

Nailed it. Nicely done. Romo is the ONLY reason Garrett has a winning record.

I understand the frustration level. We all want a better situation as Idgit stated well above.

But it could be worse here. It certainly hasn’t been much better with much more proven and experienced coaches last couple decades. Our choices and options are limited with Jerry.

Personally I like enough of what Garrett has done under the circumstances. That doesn’t mean I think Garrett is a great coach. I’m not sure anyone we’d attract or Jerry would pursue would do much better which has certainly been the case last couple decades.

I wish I had a better answer but I honestly don’t believe firing Garrett solves our problems. I’m willing to ride it out barring a total collapse.

What were Garretts qualifications when he became head coach? QB coach for 3 years and OC for 3. And not even a good one.

Who was the QB's campo had when he was coach?

In 7 years Garrett has one more playoff win then Campo in 3.

Oh yah, Garrett is awesome. LOL

Camp is the ONLY coach in Cowboys history with a worse winning percentage than Garrett. EVERYONE else has a higher winning percentage or the same. Both Gailey and Wade had higher winning percentages than Garrett.

Facts are stubborn things.

How about this.............Wade, Garrett, Campo, Gailey were all sub standard head coaches. You want to debate about which one was less worse? Have at it.

This proud franchise deserves better than all of them.

But besides Campo, NO ONE has done worse for longer then Jason Garrett. No one has had LESS success than Garrett for as long as Garrett.

OUt of that list of sub standard coaches, no one has had more talent than Garrett to work with. No one has had close to the same QB's as Garrett. Other than Wade with Romo as well.

So Jerry is the coach and Garrett is the GM?

:lmao::lmao2:
No, Jerry is controlling the level of coaches we have.

There’s a constant these last couple decades. A root to the evil here you appear to not want to address.

I don’t believe firing Garrett resolves our issues with Jerry.
