Oh man I love fallout! Is it available on both systems?
Yeah it's on both systems. One point about the X Box is that it is backwards compatible (not ALL games though) but it does let you play the 360 versions of Fallout 3/New Vegas w original discs. I was initially excited about the feature (bc) but really haven't played more than 20 minutes on any past gen game unf. It does come down to exclusives and Xbox has basically given up on producing new games this generation and taken an almost exclusive hardware improvement angle and does have a better blu ray player. Basic summary of how it has played out this new gen.

If not really into game exclusives, Xbox would be your bet; quicker interface. For the handful of exclusives, PS4 Pro 1TB would be my suggestion (the graphics difference is negligible) and u should be good for the next 5 years either way.

When I started PC gaming it opened up a whole new world, get a pc

Now I'm not really up on the latest consoles but from everything ive read the PS4 seems to be the better choice. You just have to decide which "exclusives" you want and which you can live without.

I have both a PS4 Pro and an Xbox One X. Actually I also have an Xbox One S too. Haha Gaming is something I enjoy doing. Most of the time I would rather play a video game then watch TV.

Anyways, they're both great consoles. I like my PS4 Pro. The controller is comfortable and the system runs great (though the Pro gets warm). My Xbox One X also runs great but runs much cooler than the Playstation. I also like the Xbox controller. They both have some good exclusives though Sony probably holds the edge there. Xbox is great in the fact that, like mentioned above, they have backwards compatibility on many of their old Xbox 360 (and now original Xbox) games and the library grows by the months. Also, I enjoy the digital "play anywhere" that Xbox offers. For example, on my Forza 7 game, I have it downloaded it on both my Xbox consoles and on my PC. It is no additional cost. Once you buy the digital copy it is yours to download and play wherever acceptable.

Really, it is a pretty subjective topic. Just go with what you think you will enjoy the most. I game enough that I bought both so I can go back and forth. Plus I got the PS4 as I ended up buying the Playstation VR. The VR is pretty cool but it is a novelty item. I don't play it as much as I thought I would but it is a neat technology to enjoy from time to time. You can tell the technology is in its infancy but it is neat to get a taste of what could be on the horizon. Microsoft supposedly has a VR up their sleeve but they are being pretty tight-lipped about the whole thing.

So, long story short, sorry I couldn't help more. I love them both thought I admittedly lean towards my Xbox the most.

I had tried ' my hand' with the p.c. gaming back when I had the swimming pool castle as their was a really cool turn based game going up against Rommel's Africa corp. Early WWII,,, & went so far as the have some p.c. nerd kid build me a tower ,,,I'd paid that $*%& head around $400 up front, well when I got it ,I had bought like an $80 sound/ graphic hi-speed casing-liner and when I installed that it flat-out vapor locked/ crashed repeatedly ( p.c. nerd thought he was skinning some hayseed till he realized I was serious when I told him to keep my money but yer' getting this P.O.S. tower you've supposedly built for me crammed up yer' *** TOO!),,,he forked that cash right back over to me ,quick!,,,man, I'd just gave that sound/graphic card away a couple of years ago now that I'm thinking about it,,,, anyway I'm not computer driven anymore
( and I've got one still set-up in the 'step girls' bedroom& another boxed in the R.V,o_O)

Hey I love me some console gaming, spent hundreds of hours{at least} on the couch playing the Tomb Raider series, Resident Evil series, Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver and Morrowind just to name a few. Great times.......
Did you ever play that
" silent hill " ? MAN! I'd be on the couch at like 2 in the morning playing that ,,alone/ by myself & at times it could actually make me start feeling real 'wiggey' & creeped out,,,man:confused:

Pc would be the hidden third answer. You can buy controllers to plug in if you really do not want to use a mouse/keyboard.

Ironically enough I use a Xbox 360 controller on some games (witcher 3, shadow of mordor, and tomb raider to name a few) I play on my pc.

I remember when Xbox one/PS4 came out all my friends got Xboxs.
They ended up never playing at all post buying the console...

would like to try out the PS4 but I don't play enough to justify buying another console to compare.
I just buy Madden now. Sans racing games like Forza/Horizons when they go on sale.

No complaints about the Xbox one. Switched from the 360 to the PS3 after getting the red ring of death twice in two years
