I have both a PS4 Pro and an Xbox One X. Actually I also have an Xbox One S too. Haha Gaming is something I enjoy doing. Most of the time I would rather play a video game then watch TV.
Anyways, they're both great consoles. I like my PS4 Pro. The controller is comfortable and the system runs great (though the Pro gets warm). My Xbox One X also runs great but runs much cooler than the Playstation. I also like the Xbox controller. They both have some good exclusives though Sony probably holds the edge there. Xbox is great in the fact that, like mentioned above, they have backwards compatibility on many of their old Xbox 360 (and now original Xbox) games and the library grows by the months. Also, I enjoy the digital "play anywhere" that Xbox offers. For example, on my Forza 7 game, I have it downloaded it on both my Xbox consoles and on my PC. It is no additional cost. Once you buy the digital copy it is yours to download and play wherever acceptable.
Really, it is a pretty subjective topic. Just go with what you think you will enjoy the most. I game enough that I bought both so I can go back and forth. Plus I got the PS4 as I ended up buying the Playstation VR. The VR is pretty cool but it is a novelty item. I don't play it as much as I thought I would but it is a neat technology to enjoy from time to time. You can tell the technology is in its infancy but it is neat to get a taste of what could be on the horizon. Microsoft supposedly has a VR up their sleeve but they are being pretty tight-lipped about the whole thing.
So, long story short, sorry I couldn't help more. I love them both thought I admittedly lean towards my Xbox the most.
