Which player in NFL history would you draft No. 1?

Remember you're saying in your opinion this the greatest player in NFL history.

I struggled between Reggie White, Dan Marino, and Randy Moss but decided my choice would be Marino. No player IMO did so much with so little.

Either Brady or Mahomes. And its honestly not even close.

Rd1. Reggie White
Rd2. Bruce Smith
Rd3. Mike Singletary
Rd4. Deion Sanders
Rd5. Darrell Green
Rd6. Darren Woodson
Rd7. Ed Reed

That's why I like Peyton Manning, he proved he wasn't a system guy when he went to Denver and picked up right where he left off. We will finally see what Brady can do but I fear it's not a fair test since if he fails it could just be because he's over the hill. Mahomes has only played 2 seasons under one coach who is very much known for lifting up QBs.

I don’t believe TB will have nowhere near the defense Manning had in Denver. Denver won SB in spite of Manning because of the D!

Lawrence Taylor

My 7th grade year I went with a friend and his Dad who took a top high school running back on a recruiting trip to a UNC football game during LT’s last season. I live about 1 and 1/2 hours from Chapel Hill. I got to meet LT in the locker room. He was something else and would probably get ejected from every game in this modern NFL. If I had to pick a defensive player it would be him even though I hate the Giants.
Side note...the recruit ended going to the opponent that UNC played that day, NC State.

I ain't picking anyone who.lost to Eli twice and Foles in the big game. And never played in an era where the QB was allowed to get hit. Brady plays in the 70's and he doesnt make it to the age of 35. His lack of mobility would gotten him killed.

Taylor...Brown and Dick Butkus because he has the best football name.

Ok maybe I take a ref. Gotta have the ref on your side.

Tom Brady and it’s not even close. He’s been in the league 20 years. He played on below market value contracts, he’s reportedly a great leader, plays the most important position, and has minimal injury history.

Nobody else comes close.

Elway. I never rooted for him. But in his day with a little bit of talent he was nearly unbeatable. He’s almost become the Emmitt Smith of quarterbacks. People have forgotten how good he really was.

There really can only be one answer....if you don’t draft the goat at the games most important position (by a mile), then what are you thinking?

I am going with John Elway.

My picks would be

1. Elway
2.Montana
3. Marino
4. Reggie White

In decision making order. If I can build a proper team around Elway I know that I have a chance at a championship. He went to 3 super bowls in the 1980s with teams very similar to what Romo had. Maybe slightly less talented.

The way I see it ...........this is a player who could dominate with or without teammates. One with the so-called freakish talent. For example, Primetime, Reggie White, LT, Randy Moss would have been dominant on any team, good or bad.

Going with a non-Cowboy, give me John Elway. I think he’s the most talented player to ever play the QB position.

I don’t believe TB will have nowhere near the defense Manning had in Denver. Denver won SB in spite of Manning because of the D!
He made it to four Super Bowls, he proved he could get there but ultimately it’s up to the whole team to win it. Brady is a system QB; Manning proved to actually be the system as he literally lifted his Colts offense and took it to Denver and had the greatest offensive season in the history of the sport.
