What makes it fun this yr, we always paid close attention in the offseason and could easily figure out who they are taking, this yr it is really anyone's guess, especially picking so late. I think those 3 after the 1st rd probably are main targets in Miller, Overshown and Gardner.

Anytime Quinn works out an Edge we need to take notice, he also worked out Van Ness, but nobody mention him.
Simply because Van Ness should go top 15-20. McDonald will be there at 26

I agree. Several guys I feel we can pencil in if available. A few other visits I see them picking and I would add Tyrique Stevenson and Ilm Manning. He fits the underside offensive lineman who can play tackle and guard

I didnt see Mayer and Kincaid's name in the 30 visit list.
I really believe the team is OK with going to Ferguson / Hendershot. It looks like they like Washington but he offers something different than Mayer / Kincaid.

The value is there later with Kraft, LaPorta etc.

I feel it’s another media blowing out of proportion and not doing any research and simply saying “Dalton Schultz left! They did nothing to replace him!” So they make this the pick. They did it for many of years at safety.

I have a sneaky suspicion that they are going to move up for Robinson.
Superstar jersey seller and highly marketable.
And the Cowboys have their best success with great RBs.
I wouldn't be surprised with a trade up either, but for Smith-Njigba...The Patriots are known for trading back and I can see them doing business with the Cowboys.
The Cowboys have done a nice job in FA to solidify the roster and they still have a chunk of change to sign FA after the draft...maybe someone like OG Dalton Risner if they miss out on an interior lineman.
It just feels like the year where the Cowboys would give up draft capital to move up for a player they really want....If they are hiding their interest in a player it's Njigba. The proof is in the pudding.

I wrote a CB prototype thread a few months ago, both Stevenson and Gardner were on that list, they both fit what Quinn seeks at the position.

We shall find out, if we see a high TE, we know what they think and vice versa.

26 puts you in a difficult position. You’re going to find a player slide to you you didn’t think would. I also go BPA in the late 20s

He should be on my list as well, as they met with him at the combine and he visited as a Dallas Day prospect. However, what I am hearing he is going to be the 1st WR drafted, too high for even a trade up option.

I do believe the team will have 1st rd grades on both Mayer and Kincaid. If one does fall to 26, it would be in their decision. The other thing that nobody has discussed, what happens if a Washington, Mustrgrave, LaPorta or Kraft is there at 58?

That’s what stinks! You just up Kincaid or Mayer and somebody like Kraft or Musgrave would be there in the 2nd.

TE is deep this year, I would prefer waiting

Odds are against one slipping to 58, but you never know. Dane Bruglar has them all gone except LaPorta by 50.
