Which WR are we targeting?

In the draft or FA? There are so many options for our team right now as to who we may sign or may draft.

What would be better? Trading for a proven guy or picking up a guy in the draft?
Where do y'all see this team in 3 years with no Glenn, Flozell, Ellis and possibly TO? What kinda moves would you personally make to bolster our WR opposite Crayton?

IMO the best move would be Anthony Henry and a middle round pick for Roy Williams, then sign a Drayton Florence and 1st round pick round out the top 3 CB's behind Newman.

I'd want a vet 3rd CB in FA and a rookie via the Draft.

Same with WR.

One via FA and another in the Draft.

Then add another RB, ILB, OL, NT, etc. through the Draft.

T.O isnt going anywhere.
In 3 years he more than likely won't be with us...I meant it as who do we have as a plan to develop behind our starters next year.

Garrett spoke highly of Early Doucet at the Senior Bowl.

I was reading thehuddlereport.com write-up on him as well. They were very positive.

I'm curious how he ranks versus Hardy, for example, or D Jackson?

Depends on who you talk to, of course. I'd pick him over both of those fellows.

That's the guy I am starting to really hope we go after.

And what about M Kelly vs. Doucet?

I'd take Doucet over any of the receivers in this class. But it is a poor WR class.

Hos, how would you rank the top 4-5 WRs in this year's draft (pre-Combine, etc.)?

Malcom Kelly was clearly the 2nd best wideout on the Sooners this year.
O. Iglesias was much more impressive.

Couldn't disagree more. Iglesias benefited GREATLY from the amount of attention defenses had to pay to Kelly. Early in the year, when they weren't giving him the proper attention he caught 14 passes with 7 going for TDs.

Iglesias is a very good WR, i take nothing away from him in that regard, but he benefited a great deal from having Kelly taking so much attention off of him.

id like to trade for roy williams, and isnt one of the two cardinals receivers a FA this year? Id rather have a proven commodity than a rookie when it comes to receivers

I think Terry Glenn is gone; so we should sign Donte Stallworth to a 2-3 year deal to start oposite TO giving us the deep threat we need while letting our young receivers develop.

If we were to draft a receiver; he would need time to develop; if we were to draft and sign a FA who would we cut?

I look for the Cowboys to draft a CB and RB in the first round, and another CB in round 2 or 3 depending on BPA.

As am I. The kid has a lot of wiggle, we're missing a guy on offense that has breakaway speed.

Does anyone know what kind of 40 he's going to run?

I might drop our lowest First rounder for Roy Williams, for sure our 2nd if that would get it done or maybe a 3rd for a healthy Javon Walker.

I like the idea of Roy Williams or Fitzgerald, but I have my doubts how feasible getting either one is...not trying to spend alot on that muffler.

I'm on board with Doucet. He doesn't have blazing speed, but he seems to have everything else. I really like what I've seen from Lavelle Hawkins as well.

Give me Doucet in the first, or Hawkins later, and I'm happy.
