Whisenhunt recalls '08 Cowboys as 'Super Bowl team'

I think the entire team pretty much conceded before the game because they knew they didn't stand a snowballs chance with Brad.

That's pathetic enough coming from a fan.

If the team itself thought that way then it goes beyond pathetic.

The Rams had scored like 2 TDs all season up to that point. We should have been able to beat them with Hellen Keller at QB, but our defense completely sucked that game.

Coach can talk because he's backed it up by going to the Super Bowl.
All our coach can do is belch after going to the Golden Corral.

Bolded and quoted for truth.

Tony had plenty of opportunities to win that game before it ever got to that point.

They looked like Zombies the entire game until the thought of losing finally popped into their brains.

That game, like the 1st Washington game, was just a complete lack of Focus by our team.

Our defense had plenty of opportunity not to get roasted by an unknown 3rd string WR and make plenty of stops on downs like 3rd and 17, but they couldn't get it done.

Don't place it all squarely on Romo. He helped put up 20+ points that day.

After seeing how everything turned out, how could anyone arrive at the opinion that we would have been a better team if a few plays had gone our way.

They went against us because we were a mediocre team.

20/20 hindsight makes EVERYONE a genius.
