One last retort to those who need it and you should be aware after this.

Africa in not a country.

Not all countries in Africa are 'just alike' in regards to corruption.

Corruption is money and power. Genocide is the same for a few but for the 'masses' performing it then it is generally over politics, race, or religion or a combination of those. And often those at the top are in it for the money and use the 'masses' and their reasons to stay in power which means money and power.

Africa is very diverse. Religion is a major problem esp with the introduction of Islam to countries previously non-Islamic. But even Christians fight amongst themselves so I'm not saying its an Islamic problem at all. And tribe fights against tribe. Just as Amerindians did but much worse. Mix religion, culture, different languages even, money and power along with poverty, disease and lack of infrastructure and you have a disaster of truly Bilblical proportions.

Genocide is not corruption although they can go hand in hand. Just not always.

Finally, why don't we police ourselves and cut out the labeling or name calling.

Genocide was mentioned because of its horror. Also it is a direct reaction of the corruption of Africa's resources. The tyrants in power use it as a tool, in order to keep people in check so corruption continues.

I completely disagree there is a double standard.

the difference only lies in people's own perceptions, and 9 times out of 10 its white folks complaining that there is a double standard.

Matter of fact, I don't think I have ever heard a black person use the double standard argument.

completely delusional.

it doesn't undermine anything, white people make fun of other white people all the time and no one *****es and moans, the minute a black dude does it white people get all bent out of shape about it.

That's pretty ridiculous.

White people can make fun of each other(you might be a redneck if...) but black folks poking fun are undoing the equality movement? give me a break.

put it this way. have a black guy do a redneck routine, then have a white guy do the marty routine. almost no white people would be offended in this instance. the white guy would be murdered days later with the performance posted all over the internet and television.

Yes, if Jason Witten made a black olympics video we would be outraged. But that's because he's a white guy from Tennesse. I don't feel I need to elaborate on that any more.

But if Witten makes "Redneck Olympics", who is getting mad?

Whereas honkies from Massachusetts can get away with anything.

Exactly what I was saying.

I felt I should mention the Tennesse part, because if someone from L.A. or N.Y. made the "redneck olympics", there's a high probability you'd get a similar response to when Neil Young wrote "Southern Man" and Lynyrd Skynyrd's response was to write a song about loving the governor and the blue skyes of Alabama.
