It has been known the whole time that Hardy's assistant physically restrained Ms Holder, with a bear hug at times. That is how Hardy was able to call 911. You can hear her screaming in the background of his call and there were times she was actually blocking him from leaving.

It is not known if those bruises were caused from being restrained, from her falling around or from Hardy himself. That is why trials are needed to view the evidence properly. The photos by themselves prove nothing without sworn testimony and cross examination.

Ok. . but why is the media all over Jerry Jones and the Cowboys and not talking about the Judge, prosecutor, attorneys, and NFLPA???? they saw the photos, the know the story ...

Because that takes too much effort. It is much easier to point the finger at the bad guy. No one is ever going to be criticized for being anti-DV. The League was determined to make an example out of Hardy after the RRice video controversy.

And the NFL may have a point. If the media is going to act as the lynch mob then they would rather be in the large crowd than standing alone defending an accused woman beater. I am kind of surprised that there haven't been more incidents and arrests since Hardy. Maybe the harsh punishments and tough stance is working. That would be one positive out of this sorted tale.

I liked how NBC opened their pre-game coverage ... Costas and Collinsworth mentioned the guy went through the judicial system, the NFL process, they all saw the pic .. so what do you want from him.....And they did mention had the Cowboys not got him, many teams in the NFL would ...

Awesome - and I know for a fact they have been bombarded by tweets of Whitlcoks article. For now on I think you will hear either measured responses or silence. The media will never recant but they will be careful now.

If Skip Bayless on 1st Take tomorrow repeats the same things espn been barking for days and doesn't bring up the things Whitlock brought then for sure espn has some agenda for Jerry Jones ..
I did heard Chris Berman than he didn't like how he treated Tom Landry ....

Not that I decided what to think of Hardy, but the coverage is too aggressive from someone like espn, and to lesser extent from toehr media, and you come to read what Whitlock says and your head goes into a spin .. why one cannot find a station that discusses the issue on a non-biased manner .. we are viewers who are not looking to hate this or that.. just the facts

I find it as criminal when someone who has the privilege of a microphone and throws lies and false information at viewers/listeners...

If someone crazy goes out and shoots Hardy because he is disgusted of how espn portraited him, will that make them happy? Isn't that media harnessing hate? Balance people .. Balance!!!!!

I should stick to public TV .. LOL

Well said and spot on. The courage it took to write what Whitlock wrote is a perfect example of how one person with the very platform you spoke of can at least make people pause and consider both sides of a story.

But people have to be willing to consider both sides and NOTHING indicates that any mediot or presstitute other than Whitlock is willing to do so.

It's a pity that the journalism today is based on sensationalism rather than facts . Media as a whole gets discredited because of this.
Because they see how the skip Bayless and SAS are getting top billing they are trying to be superstar journalist nowadays. That stuff always seems to corrupt most people over time because almost everybody if not everybody wants to be important in some way.

Funny this guy says this for this particular story. That's how his journalism has been for years. this guy has absolutely no room to talk.
