Mine:

Joe Decamilis - STUD coach
Miles Austin - Clear #1...

I sure wish Austin had stepped his game up before we went out and mortgaged the house on the forgettable RW11. Perhaps someone can answer a couple of burning questions.

1. Am I the only one that notices the parallel between Romo no longer making RW11 the primary target and his INTs going completely away?

2. Can someone explain to me how two people that allegedly worked so hard together in the off-season are rarely on the same page? Romo is playing at a very high level so I know it's not on him. Hrmmm...

I noticed a lack of Owens on the team....

The result seems to be less INTs this year.

I'll do 2 MVP's for each phase of the game:

Offense: Miles Austin and Tony Romo

Defense: Jay Ratliff and Keith Brooking

Special teams: David Buehler and Patrick Crayton

Cute. Actually he was tossing them early in the year prior to the shift away from RW11 as the primary. ;) They have *POOF* vanished ever since Miles made Tony look elsewhere. Thank goodness for Miles!

I'd love to understand this, too. I thought that our system and terminology were supposedly just like what Williams was used to in Detroit .....

Can't argue with that at all. Buehler just gets touchbacks..lol. How many did he have today? I counted at least 3.

4 INTs in 7 games.

No coincidence, once he didn't have to appease a certain WR and could just throw to open spots/open players; the turnovers dropped.

I agree with your 2 MVPs this season, but I have to give some props, or maybe an honorable mention, to Mike Jenkins. He has really stepped up this season, and seems to be getting better each week.

Think bigger than just RW11. Romo rarely throws INTs when he's going through his reads and following the progression. Historically, he's thrown INTs when forcing the ball to TO, or our new so-called #1 WR (not named Miles).

Norm debated question 2 on the the ticket after the game. This falls on RW11. How is it that Romo puts the ball on the money for every other receiver, but can't hit RW at all? That is on the receiver. The receiver also has to read defenses and adjust his routes at times. RW11 isn't doing any of that effectively.

Both are major studs. Yes. At one point in time I doubted Romo. He has totally stepped his game up and I am so glad to have eaten every word I said about him. He and Miles should make excellent music together for a very long time.

Lol he's actually a monster. I'm not sure if it's sad that he may end up being the best draft pick of the 09' draft? I guess who really cares; he's helped us with hidden yardage lke crazy this year. Kudos to Jerry for signing off on that draft pick.

There are no clear 2, there are 5:
there is a clear #1 though which is;
#1 Tony Romo - flawless QB'ing for 3 games makes you the MVP
#2 is clearly Miles Austin - no step up from Austin the cowboys lose to KC, Atlanta and possibly Seattle
#3 Joe D.- Flawless Special teams helps the offense, and the defense.
#4 Keith Brooking - Great pickup; Locker room Leader and great on the field.
#5 Jason Garrett - You can't coach penalties, sometimes his play calling is frustrating but other times it is flawless, anyone who calls for him to be fired are complete idiots, we have the #2 Offense in the NFL.

1. Romo has thrown 4 ints this season in 2 games. In the Giants game, one of them was intended for Crayton that got returned for a TD, one of them bounced of Witten's foot and the 3rd was intended for Hurd. In the Denver game, the int was intended for Austin. Roy actually broke up an int by Aqib Talib on a low ball that was intended for him in the Tampa game. So, no! You're off on this one.

2. It's definitely a cause for concern at this point. Or at least should become a focal point in their preparation. But even you, and the staunches of the Roy haters, can agree that he's getting open out there and has a skill set that poses a legit threat for any defense. They just have to get on the same page. They are taking the next step in conversing about plays on the sideline for lengths of time after the plays-and Wade even alluded to this in his post game PC.

But it's not something that easy to explain. It's easy and actually a cop out for those who don't like Roy to say he's lazy, he's a bum, not worth the contract etc. But it's gotta be a combination of things and I truly believe they'll get on the same page soon.

I was willing to make a bet with Bob prior to this game that Roy got more than 5 catches. Glad I didn't. Or actually, glad he wasn't willing :)

We won by 21 vs. Seattle. How can you say that w/o Miles today, we would have lost?

i like the way jenkins has played this year but next week will be a huge test. if he can stop jackson from getting deep on us then we have a great chance to win against the eagles but we will have to see.
