Who do you cut Brown, Trigg or Mafah

Trigg is going to IR or pup for fake injury to stash him.
Brown is a keeper due to Lambs inability to stay healthy each season (his missed a few games). We need a #3 and i am not trotting out GP, FLO and Mingus. i'd rather have Mingus stay as a Designated Special teams and #4
Mafah you can get back to PS so cut.
They're gonna do that with trig you can't play him tonight I mean the NFL is not stupid he just coming off that toe injury and you should not activate him tonight that's the only way you cannot send up a red flag unless you just have one of the offensive lineman run out and stomp on his foot in the game on purpose so he limps off so yeah I can see that they could try to stash him but they can't play him tonight I know they're going to want to play him tonight but if you want to put them on IR this is an opportunity to just not even activate the guy for for other reasons too you don't want him to make any big plays if you do cut him and try to get him back to the practice squad either way you can't play the guy tonight..

Any of these guys you play tonight that show out it's gonna be hard for them to get back to the practice squad especially Brown if he has another big game and you try to cut the guy he's not making it back to the practice squad he will be claimed off waivers quickly not because he's gonna be a starter but other teams like to have projects and stash talent in their back pocket we just happen to have too much of it at wide receiver right now..

If the Cowboys only keep 5 WRs, and 3 TEs and 3 RBs who stays and who goes. I think Michael Triggs is the #1 keeper and the most likely to be picked off waivers as TE is a huge need on teams. Cameron Brown may also not clear waivers but the Cowboys have more depth at WR than TE... I think Mafah is gone either way and Israel "Izzy" Abanikanda can easily be stashed on the practice squad.

Keep - Michael Triggs
Cut - Cameron Bronwn
Cut - Phil Mafah
Mafah, we are not keeping 4 RB's.

Yeah but rioting over what I mean this dude is the next coming of Cropper and Brooks and the other guys that have done really good things even Holden had a really good offseason last year apparently WR 5-7 also grow on trees as well...

I mean I don't even have to think about it I mean guys like Cedric Wilson and LAURENT Robinson, These guys made plays in real games for the Dallas Cowboys and the Dallas Cowboys lived after cutting them and then they came back and keep being these names pop up that can do things at that level but I think your argument is for all three of these guys they can be replaced..

And that might happen I could see all three being cut and hopefully they're gonna try to get most of them back on the practice squad if they can cut Flournoy and Cooper rush who both did more for this team than these 3 DUDES then these three dudes are not safe.
We never had Laurent Robinson for training camp. Laurent Robinson came from being cut from the chargers training cut. And they didn’t want to cut him. We had joint practices against the chargers and our scouts liked what they saw from him. But Laurent wasn’t like Cedric or Cam. He had been in the league for a couple of seasons and played on different teams and was even a starter. He just had injury issues.

Norv Turner recommended him to Jerry out of San Diego and Jerry listened

Tony Romo made Robinson some serious $$$$

I think that was the plan from the start. Teams have manipulated injuries and the IR roster for years. I can see Trigg stashed on IR. It can’t justify keeping 6 WRs with a serious lack of depth at OT.
They dang sure need help at OT. It's hard to find help at that position in late August unless you shelling out draft picks.

Trigg to IR, Keep Brown cut Mafah and hopes he gets the the PS.

Agree.
Mafah is a dime a dozen.
They can stash him on PS easily.

That sounds like the route Brown will end up taking. May get cut by the Cowboys but will get some playing time elsewhere and with 2-3 yrs experience might be a better than average starting WR. I don’t see a superstar in Brown but I do see a good starting WR down the road

If Brown plays tonight he is not making the roster. They will be showcasing for a trade and if no trade comes about they may be forced to cut him

Sadly, I think they are going to go with Thomas at LT and Cornelius at RT

Those are all good points.
At the end of the day we are talking about the 51st, 52nd best player on the team, etc.
It's doesn't have the gravity of deciding whether to keep a successful player headed to free agency.
But sometimes they do pan out.
Trigg has a little something to himself in the pass game.

Keep Brown. You cut him, you lose him.

Trigg I’d like to keep, and maybe if they could get anything in a trade for Schoonmaker they would, but unfortunately I think they keep 3 TE’s and keep Schoonmaker as their 3rd. I wouldn’t but I think they will.

Mafah is a definite cut. They might not even put him on the practice squad.

And I thought that about fairweather last year I've watched him make some plays for Arizona.. And yet they exposed him I thought he was our best tight end in preseason and camp as far as watching the depth guys and he end up getting taken off the practice squad..

Like I said I don't think any of these three are safe and I don't think fans should riot for what I just don't think there's anything to worry about we have that kind of depth where a guy like Brown might get lost..

My point is he's low on the depth chart as a receiver but when called upon he was making plays he was putting up stats and yet the Cowboys didn't blink when they cut him that is the point you're missing..

All these guys you're worried about what they may or may not be able to do in the NFL and the Cowboys have cut better players players that have actually played in real games and put up real stats none of these three have done any of that And yet the Cowboys cut those better players,..

Adding to that, the coaches obviously see Brown in practice and can tell how he fares against No. 1 defenses.
Separation seems to be a concern with him. But he also seems like a gamer.
Jerry won't let Mingo go because.....well we all know why.

Yes he's Noah Brown with better hands So yes he's kind of on the slow side but very good possession receiver Yeah but Mingo's had just as good a camp he's bigger or as big and faster and if he's turning the corner why would you give up if it was all things equal you keep the 4th round draft resource that you picked up it only makes sense so you can blame Jerry for that all you want it only would make sense to keep Mingo again big and fast and strong and he cost us a 4th rounder so if they see him in the same light you take that guy why not?
