Who do you hate more, Peyton or Eli

I am not too fond of either one of them. I think they are both over-hyped, but if I had to chose one I would chose Eli, he is no better than Kyle Boller, JP Losman, or Kyle Orton at this point in his career but the sports casters drip all over him. Roethlisberger light years beyond Eli. And although Peyton has had a lot of success with most of his success coming under a dome, he hasn't won anything significant and chokes in big games. Now they are billing Sunday evenings game between the Giants and the Colts as the "Manning Bowl".

Too much hype for me.

If I had to pick one, it'd be Eli, too, for the same reasons.

I hate, HATE them. I used to really like Peyton Manning. Now he and mini-me are just annoying.

Like the famous Deion quote..."both"!

I used to have a mutual respect for the Mannings, however, with the baby faced brat, Eli, incident when he was drafted, and daddy coming to protect his little son...not anymore!

OMG eli....dont even get me started. he is officially my least favorite player of all time. hes made out to be a future star but hes been downright quincy-carteresque.

The Seattle game last year was the boiling point for me. He threw up a complete duck into the endzone and two seattle guys mistimed their jump and it went right to toomer for one td. Then they gave Shockey that other TD. Those made his numbers look decent if nothing else. Pissed me the heck off...still does

I don't hate either but I also don't like either. And to say that Roethlisberger is light years beyond Eli is a joke.

Eli for sure. Even though Peyton chokes in the big game, at least he's put up great numbers in the regular season that somewhat justify his hype.

Eli is just living off his name. He had piss-poor numbers last year, but everyone acts like he's guarenteed to be the next big thing. If he didn't have that last name or Tiki Barber to hand off too, he'd be put in the same category as Losman.

Eli, mostly for the whole draft thing. I like Peyton, he's in some pretty good commercials. Eli hasn't been amazing yet, but you can't really put him in the same category as Quincy or Lausman. He's actually my fantasy football QB (I don't discriminate, I even have some dead-skins) and I expect good numbers from him.

Why the hate? They are great football players.

Eli is not great. To me he doesn't look like he will ever be "great". He has good physical tools but lacks that top QB instinct..that ability to pick apart a defense, to make his team better, week in and week out. He's young yet and could prove me wrong.

I'm not saying I dislike Big Ben, I like him as a "football player". But his veteran team pretty much carried him last year. I think the whole motorcycle thing will help him in the long run because it forces him to be accountable for his decisions and to mature. He has to take his game up another level if he wants to be a top 10 QB in the league though.

Wow, are you in 3rd grade? Peyton's the best QB in the NFL right now. You call him over-rated? Wow.

I thought we got over our NFL prejudices after elementary school. Do you argue with your co-workers over this?

Lemme guess ... Drew Bledsoe is the best QB in the NFL. To s*cked until he became a Cowboy, and now he's the best WR in the league.

All I have to say is ... WOW !!!:bang2:
