I don't hate either but I also don't like either. And to say that Roethlisberger is light years beyond Eli is a joke.

Roethlisberger is light years ahead of Peyton also. he has something Peyton will never have a ring.

I couldn't care less about either one of them... both of them are going to be "good" qb's in this league, never will be "great". Numbers are just numbers,, win some championships,, then you can be great. Both wilt under pressure and I doubt either ever wins a championship at this level. Been watching both since college,, Peyton was the talk of the town in college, but Tenn didn't win the National championship until he left,, the very year after he left I believe,, that says alot to me.

I'm not saying I dislike Big Ben, I like him as a "football player". But his veteran team pretty much carried him last year. I think the whole motorcycle thing will help him in the long run because it forces him to be accountable for his decisions and to mature. He has to take his game up another level if he wants to be a top 10 QB in the league though.

Oh, I'm not saying you hate him. I just don't like Ben, Eli, or Peyton.

Wow, are you in 3rd grade? Peyton's the best QB in the NFL right now. You call him over-rated? Wow.

I thought we got over our NFL prejudices after elementary school. Do you argue with your co-workers over this?

Lemme guess ... Drew Bledsoe is the best QB in the NFL. To s*cked until he became a Cowboy, and now he's the best WR in the league.

All I have to say is ... WOW !!!:bang2:
It works the exact opposite with you.
Let me guess, the Cowboys were a good team until you became a "fan".

Neither.

I think both have alot of talent and would have loved to see either one wearing a Dallas Cowboys uniforms. There dad is very annoying though.

But anyways, I think it is cool to see 2 brothers playing at the Professional level.

For those of you who have older or younger brothers like myself...we know how fun it would be to be playing one another on Sundays..that would just be ridiculous.

Too much hype for me.

I think Peyton costs his teams in the playoffs against great defenses with his "I'm going to make 85 audibles at he line of scrimmage" nonsense. It takes away from the offense's momentum when their linemen have to sit in their stance for 30 seconds in freezing Foxboro weather while Peyton's showing off how cerebrial he is. I also think he has too much power in that organization and walks all over Dungy at times.

I don't hate Eli at all, I just think he's greatly inaccurate and overrated.

undoubtedly Payton.....
I started really disliking him in college because I have always absolutely hated U of Tenn and their fat*** coach, stupid annoying fight song, and proclivity to choke in big games despite perrenial monster recruiting. I always LOVED it that Spurrier OWNED U of Tenn and esp Payton. That was pure ownership. I hated it how Payton was the posterboy for college athletics his entire career at U of Tenn and then I disliked him even more because I figured they would hand him the Heisman despite losing every major game he played in. I was so elated when Woodson shocked the world by taking the trophy. You know that Payton was shocked. If only he wasn't a choker. hahaha
Then, that same hype and adoration has followed Payton to the pros. I wouldn't despise him so much if he wasn't the biggest da** dork in the free world. What really set me off on a legacy of loathing though is when everyone started comparing Payton, Harrison, and Edge to Aikman, Irvin, and Emmitt. Started calling the Colts, "the new tripletts." That is like sandpaper on my skin. I cheer and have a toast, like the '72 Dolphins, every year once Payton is eliminated, again, from the playoffs and fails, once again, to win a championship of any sorts.
I never would've cared about Eli other than rooting for him to suck because he's in our division HOWEVER that little draft day stunt instantly made me despise him and hope that he flounders an entire career. I always hoped that Rivers would outshine him by a mile and make NYG look like fools for blowing their entire draft to get Eli and SD like a genius for drafting him and trading him.
But the answer to the question is overwhelmingly....Payton. "cut that meat, cut that meat!" What a freaking tard.

I agree with you on this, except my dislike for Peyton started in the pros. I think he is the ultimate NON team player. I mean this mainly because of the lofty contracts he has signed. He saw every dime of the original $49 million contract he signed after being drafted. That's means he had all that maoney plus endorsements in the bank. Did he really need another $99 million with his new contract? He holds the Colts hostage because of his huge salary cap #, (averages around $16 million/year) so they can't get any good FA talent and keep what they have. If he really wanted to win and be a team player, he would have settled for less to help out the team instead of breaking the bank. Brady signed a contract for around $10 million/year for the team and he did not have the huge rookie contract that Peyton did, he had a minimum rookie contract for a 6th round pick.

Him signing that contract told me everything I need to know about Peyton, he only cares about the $$$$, not the lombardi. Then he basically publicly blames his o-line for the loss to the Steelers last year. Hope he never gets one!!

No .... but don't rag on other players because they're not Cowboys. Enjoy the game and appreciate great players.

Why the HATE and derogatory comments about Peyton and Eli? Peyton's the best QB in the NFL and Eli is developing into a good one.

Sounds like jealousy to me.

This one is easy: I hate Sh-Eli more. He's a Giant, duh! I actually like Peyton Manning, though. What can I say? I was born in Indianapolis.
