CZ POLL Who do you think will win the Cowboys-vs-Chargers game and by how much?

They can win. They could make the playoffs and win one, but this season looks just like the last several. This team needs major changes to compete for a superbowl. With Jerry and his son running things it doens't look like it will change.

My thoughts are let’s get into the playoffs and let the chips fall where they may.

Its five games into the season with plenty football let to play.

They haven't beaten the 49ers in the 3 times they have played them in the last 20 months and they look further away now than they were 20 months ago.

If you want to talk about what history supports, unfortunately it supports a WC game and an exit by the divisional round...that's basically the best we have seen in the last near 3 decades

True, we haven’t beaten them the last 3 times we have played them, and they are the better team NOW.

They can be the better team in Oct. that doesn’t mean they will be in Dec. Honesty I’m not concern with what happen in the past playoff games,
this is a new year, and I’m ready to see what happens, as oppose to giving up on the season in week 5. It’s just week 5!

i am voting totally heart maybe not brain....cowboys usually comeback after blowout....i think coaching is mature enough to help get team back on track

but i was so so so so crushed after Sunday night.....i dont break stuff anymore....but i hope McCarthey can adjust scheme where we are not locked

into Texas coast offense....our defense has almost scored as much as offense and that is not sustainable...come on big Mike....we got the players

maybe not on level as SF...but we can get better....it took 5 days to turn the page that weighed a ton....i cannot stop being a total Homer

it takes players believing in coaching and leader players the whole team can really believe in....we got to do better than Texas coast offense...we got

good enough receivers to make enough splash plays....if we can as a team get past 49er game and learn from it and actually be hungry to want to

meet them again.....then we are back on the horse.....if it lingers and we lose confidence not good...i believe we bounce back against chargers

and even win convincingly...i know most of Zoner group is still so upset and i get it....but most people are voting we lose by more than 4 i went

other direction we win by more than 4.....but it takes leadership and maturity....this will show what big Mike is made of the coming weeks...we must

go on like 5-6 game win run or may not even make it to playoffs....I hope Dak gets monkey off his back and we win big games in tight situations

we have enough talent....love Rashard Evans in our linebacker crew...he is better than LVE anyway...poor RT it takes 2 years to fully recover ACL

its not his fault just the way it is....i hope somehow we could "lure" Belichek away from Pats who may want a change seeing how last 2 games

they have been blown out...our defense could have played better and our offense was atrocious Sunday night as though they were scared?

and post a PLAT i want to be perma-banned.....things were just way too emotional at the time,,,i am like Nate Newton even if he knows

opponent is better he still picks Cowboys....that is what fans do....sorry i talked too much....cant handle losses like that....i could have a stroke

mr Jipper----i totally understand your rational....it has been our curse since 95....never make it past divisonal round.....we would have to play great and at

least 5-6 game win streak and i think we can.....i cant lay PLATS anymore unless i can talk with leadership....if they can forgive my emotional over the top

If you look at the schedule, this is one of those must have games if this is actually a playoff team.

The Boys drop this one and limp into the bye at 3-3............yikes............that means they would have to go 7-4 or 8-3 to make the playoffs (assuming it takes 10-11 wins for wildcard)

I dont see 7 or 8 wins on the schedule after the bye week considering we have the Eagles twice, Buffalo, Miami, Seattle, and the Commanders are not push overs either, especially up there.

If we lose to the Chargers, I highly doubt we make the playoffs.

The NFC is so weak compared to the AFC that 9 wins (with tie-breakers) might win the the last WC spot.

That said: we've already lost two conference games, and I don't think I even want to go the playoffs if we are just a tad over .500.

I hope we go 12-5... or 5-12 (for draft position). A tepid dip in the playoff bath means nothing.

We have the current NFL record for the longest streak of playoff seasons that did not result in a conference title game appearance. Recent history does not support the "anything can happen" theory with Dallas because the same thing has happened a record number of times and that streak is still ongoing.
