Of the singers from the past or present who has THAT voice you know is just perfect. Not the best singers so much but the greatest voices. Those that literally could sing the phone book and you would enjoy hearing their voice. Regardless of genre, here is my top five in probably this order....
1-Karen Carpenter- A voice that was crystal clear and perfection in every note.
2-Whitney Houston-Before Drugs-she had the voice of an angel and sang like one.
3-Sandi Patti-Her range is incredible and can sing something at the high end of her range with as much emotion as she can sing something on the low range.
4-Barbara Streisand-Just a great voice-
5-Aretha Franklin-Any Genre, Any song
Male Singers is tougher
1-Elvis- he could take the phone book and his voice would be unmistakeable
2-David Phelps-Best tenor singer and most incredible range I have ever heard-
3-Elton John-Such an incredible voice and talent
4-Englebert Humperdink-his voice reminded me of velvet it was so smooth
5-Micheal Jackson-I did not like all his music but the guy had a pure voice and range that was really second to none.
