So you don't want to see the head coach changed. What if I told you that it is very easy to pick out 2-3 games each and every year that we lost that we should have won SOLEY on the HEAD COACHING of JASON GARRETT. reverse each of the past 3 years(this one included) and instead of 8-8 and missing the playoffs we would have been 10-6 and went to the playoffs the past 3 years.

NO matter what anyone says that is the truth.......strictly because of our head coach we are held out of the playoffs for 3 straight years.

Jets game, Patriots game, Detroit twice, Giants once, Arizona, Packers, and this is just off the top of my head, the list goes on and on.....

Remember last offseason when Jerry did everything in his powers to make Jason quit and now it seems like he has fallen back in love with his pet. What is the deal here? Is Jerry really this crazy or should we not believe all this Garrett love from Jerry? Once again I can't make any sense of Jerry just as I can't make any sense of his comments where he seems to contradict himself almost every time.

I don't believe he did anything to make him quit. I think Jerry absolutely loves him and has never had an intention of firing him last year or this year.

I am resigned to the fact that garrett will be back, and truthfully, if the team was healthy, we would already have a playoff position locked up...garrett's fault for the injuries? hard to tell (could be conditioning)....but, his gaffs in game management cost us games because they are too close at the time....he is learning as a coach and perhaps that gets better with time....that all being said, I am ready to move on from him but will not be surprised or upset when he stays for next season

At this point it's clear that Jerry desperately wants Garrett to be successful. For multiple reasons; he wants to justify his investment, he wants his patience to pay off, and obviously if Garrett proves to be what we hope, we should be set for at least a little while, and hopefully enjoy some legitimate success in the coming years.

However, with that being said, it might not mean a whole lot after next season. I think Garrett's here to stay for 2014, but I believe it'll be a do or die year for him, as well it should.

And honestly, I hope it works out. I hope one more good offseason, coupled with Garrett's growth as a HC (hopefully) puts us in a good spot. We'll see.

I have complete confidence that Jones will screw things up by stubbornly retaining Garrett.

To do otherwise would be to admit he was completely wrong, and it's more important for Jerry to prove that he's right than for the team to win.

And as he gets older, his drive to 'show everyone' by doing it 'his way' only grows and makes things worse and worse.

At this point, he'll keep Garrett and effectively thumb his nose at the fanbase and all of the people who pay the bills.

And I'll thumb my nose right back at him and not give him a dime.
