So, when you and TheProphet met in Nam, to quote you "in the late 60s", you weren't 11, you were 15.

I am not a veteran, but I find your little game disgusting.
Got a tad confused, bro. We actually met in the late 60's at a Boy Scout Jamboree. We later met up over in SE Asia in the early 70's. Sorry for all the confusion. I get a little too far into the ales sometimes. LOL. We're all straight now.

Or do you have another "correction" to your birthdate. Maybe you meant 1948?

:jerk:
Too much meth will make you believe you served in the every war when you're actually watching Saving Private Ryan on tv.

Thoughts?

I just realized, I'd be the smallest guy on that DL.

Then maybe you would have to play, I don't know, Linebacker. :)

Bowman got a little caught on on the going ons of the era, if you know what I mean. Direct your questions to me on this topic going forward. I got through the late 60's - mid 70's with minimal damage. My brother Bowman cannot say the same.

You're really making a mockery of Michael Jackson's song, "Man In The Mirror".

Was this before or after Nixon announced he was withdrawing 200,000 troops in 1969? (when you were 15) Before or after he withdrew a horde (70,000) of troops in 1972? (you were 17) Before or after January 1973, when the Paris Peace agreement was signed? (when you had been 18 for 6 months)?

We're on your third lie now. You should quit.

He wasn't in Vietnam. He's too young. People should realize by now this guy is all schtick.

what is even sader is how dispicable a person has to be to try and portray themselves as a vietnam vet in order to continue their moronic schtick. pathetic and disgraceful

World War II vet over here, and frankly, I am appalled at Philo's actions

also Philo, not only did you put '58 as your birthdate, in this thread you said you knew your boyfriend in the late '60s

It's not a "concern" really. I just find it hard to stomach why anyone would want to post in such a way that I think they enjoy their job of stirring the big vats at a sewage treatment plant. But that's just me, I'm not attracted to stirred crap.

Because he's a Commanders or Eagles fan and he's one in the same as Philo Beddoe????:star:

I am glad this thread is allowed to be debated and grow without this person being thrown overboard for being a hater...this is a subject that must be debated BECAUSE ultimately, we do not have Steven Jackson...and right now, the combination of JuJo and Spears is NOT greater than Jackson

The guy is an athlete. Probably better than Canty. But totally in the wrong system. He is a 300lb guy, but you cannot ask him to take on 350lb tackles head up and try to overpower them.

I think the Phillips 3-4 will make him a better player. He needs to use movement in order to beat tackles bigger and stronger than him. Being in the one gap system will make him a better 3-4 DE. Our DE's were being basically used as tackling dummies in the old system. In the new they will be able to dictate where they are going to go and find the ball, instead of engaging the lineman and trying to overpower them to get to the ball.

It is much easier for the OLineman to take on a stationary target than to take on one that is moving.
