I was personally hoping for a draft something like this
28. Baker, S. Jones or Conley
60. Basham, Rivers or Hendrickson
92. Godwin, C. Henderson or Duke Riley
133. R. Douglas or Jake Butt

I'm not so sure any of those 3rd or 4th Rd guys make it to those picks now. I most definitely don't want Willis at 28 however it falls though.
Doubt Godwin makes it out of the 2nd. Baller.

Also, Mike and Will are vital positions in Marinelli's preferred scheme
Agreed, they absolutely are. Without derailing the thread (as there are plenty of JS specific threads to say the least, ha), are you in the "he's playing" crowd? I personally am, but I'm not necessarily letting that preclude me from considering Reddick if he's there.

my take with 7 weeks to go-
50 % chance we trade down ,might be the best option.

If we stay at 28 then CBs like Wilson ,Jones are in play.DEs i would go with Barnett and Mckinnely.all this could change once we know who they invite to Frisco for a visit.

edit-i would add Njoku and Engram to this list,if they are invited then its almost a lock we go TE in the first.

I think Reddick is a strong possibility. The whole "we expect a big contribution from Jaylon Smith with a brace" is front office spin. While durability isnt Sean Lee's middle name.

Agreed.

Right now, I'd say it'd be between Jackson, Reddick and Takk

I think that it might be Willis because they can go cb and safety in the 2nd and 3rd. Db class is very deep and de group isn't and Willis looks to be a solid player.

It might not, but it should.

We can't afford to take on a player that won't be able to step in and play immediately with our first round pick.

If that means moving onto something else other than pass rusher, so be it.

Look at Alexander pushing to draft for need.

Dead to me.

I didnt include Barnett because I think he is long gone by our pick. We have already showed some interest in him though

I love Budda, but not at SS. I dont think he is a real fit for us right now unless they want to move Jones yet again

Agree to disagree. There's no way Lawson is there at 60.
Ive seen crazier. Good player, but his injury history could push him down in a strong positional draft.

SN: I could see a Lawrence like trade in round 2 if they love Lawson
