Dak is not the problem. The scheme is. Same scheme and routes not being fixed. Kurt Warner touched on this. Said same stuff that he's seen the past 2 - 3 playoffs. Cowboys coaches are not paying attention and making the proper changes, thus setting up their QB and WRs to fail.

Is it the OC/the head coach/QB coach? These year after year struggles obviously aren't being addressed. Sure he's the face of this team, but still he's not above being coached up. At year 8 this shouldn't be an issue. I think this summer instead of having players over to get timing down etc, he needs to lock in and focus on the SMALL things that he needs to work on, please give your thoughts.
True......Dak and WRs need to be in class together. Can't lock in without one another. Not sure who accepts the passing game/scheme to rely on one WR. Sooner or later, good teams would shut that down or devise so. Said it weeks ago. Fool's gold.

There are enough talking heads in the room to go around and minimize becoming one-dimensional. We have a TE named Ferguson, so we're good there.

Not sure who has a 5'6 WR (Cooks) running slants from the outside against a quality DB.
I think Cooks should be in a role like Beasley was used (forget the 1000 yd act), but CeeDee gets moved into that role a lot. We need a big #2 WR.

Not sure what's up with Gallup, other than some of his routes go unfinished. Been hoping. He hasn't developed as the intended #2. We just don't get clean and crisp routes as the QB has to throw to a spot (timing routes). (Cooks and CeeDee got raggedy with their routes against GB).

Do you think Dak's interceptions usually occur in the middle of the field? If so, send him to LensCrafter (check the eyes) and OC needs to figure out what is being tipped off. (Formations/Tendencies) He is not consistent with the tight throws to my liking, and misses coverages coming his way, at times. Film, film and more film to find out what's going on. WRs feedback needs to help with that.

Why aren't RBs in the passing game? No use of TPollard in the flat.

Maybe Big Mike calling plays is just too much. When do you see our QB and OC sit down together, during the game? Big Mike ain't Shanahan (offensive weapons) or McVay (great QB play) who don't have to do that.

Now to keep it real.....if the team goes away from Dak (without acquiring a top tier QB).......we need to return to a balanced offense, as we would be rebuilding. OL repair to open holes for the running game is more important to help.

My 2 cents.

 lol fix the issue? The issue is his head hes got the physical tools. They either need to move on or continue to fix everything else. But Dak is not the only issue in fact the defense to me is more concerning
Now imagine if Dak had the mental fortitude of a navy seal.....that should be a prerequisite to play QB for the Dallas Cowboys from now on.....lol

I think people lean on their bias and emotions too much with Dak.

Let's look at this another way...

Someone tell me, how do you "fix" Kirk cousins?

(I chose cousins because none of us have an opinion one way or another)

What can we do to turn Kirk cousins into a SB winning QB?

Yes, I'm serious, what can a coach/GM do to "fix" Kirk cousins?

You either have it or you don’t in big games. You can’t fix postseason Dak, you have to surround him with dominant trenches and a run game to where he just drives the bus.

However, that won’t happen due to how much he is making coupled with Jerry bargain bin shopping in FA.

Nobody is working with him. He doesn't have a McVey like Kirk Cousins has. He has Mike and Mike is not helping Dak. That's one of the biggest things I heard this year that was crap. That he made the offense Dak friendly. Why? How? What did Mike do differently that Kellen Moore didn't do?

And i'm sure MIke had intentions of a better run blocking unit but he didn't nad had a poor run game. But he doesn't like to run the ball anyway.

The only QB coach I remember ever helping Dak is Kitna. Now this isn't a excuse. Dak is a good QB. He didn't suck because of his lack of "help". But Mike is not gonna change him. Maybe someone will work with him on his foot work but nobody is going to actually coach him up.

I mean does any coach do it? Al Harris seems to be hands on with the corners. But I have no doubt in my mind the linebackers coach, offensive line caoch don't actually coach these guys up. Sharriff Floyd seems to be doing some work with his line.

Defense is a personnel and strategy issue. Can Dak be fixed?

Dude...no...the owner is a delusional alcoholic snake oil salesman.....
my point is this entire team is a reflection of ownership. They are always going to be relevent just not the king. Dallas always gets the ugly sister while they watch someone else go home with the model

I agree but I heard recently from Mike fisher (works at the star) on his show that the reason kitna isn't around anymore is because he was the only one willing to get in daks face and curse him out after mistakes lol

They let him go and told him "we don't do that here" according to fisher.

After 8 seasons, do you really believe his flaws are fixable? I'm not sure, but I don't believe you can teach someone to think faster, especially under pressure.

Fisher is a idiot but if that's true it would explain a lot. He's a idiot but I surely won't discredit what he's saying. If that's true this team has bigger issues then I thought. It doesn't even make sense why wouldn't they get in their players face? Jimmy did it....hell Campo would even do it.

I mean it depends has he had any coaching to begin with. I don't think he has but like I said above him being coached up isn't the issue. Because we can't say oh he's coached up when he throws for 300 yards and 4 touchdowns against a crap team but when a good defense comes he looks like that and I guess he's not coached up anymore? It shouldn't be that way. I'm willing to hear his offensive scheme sucks and is outdated but i'm not willing to hear him being coached up at 30. He should've been coached up by now. This is the same stuff people said with Dez and why he couldn't run more than one route. And wanted him to fix it at 29. Too damn late.
