Who is next years Shanle?

I thought I read where KT's knee's were very poor, like he has a issue that doesn't look good for the future....

I like Burnett's chances...THIS year...
I like his athletic ability, we just need to get him playing a spot and get him in there...

Next year?
I like what Ratliff showed early and with a full offseason weight program, he should be something to see!

Jamaica Rector
at what position would be the question. They brought him in as WR, but he's been playing CB in practice...

I like Kalen Thornon and Beriault to be the sleepers. With Peterman making a serious push to get some PT behind Larry or Rivera.

He's mine -- Brett Pierce. Campbell goes back to the Giants as an FA (ouch). Pierce steps in as a younger version.

This would be my pick as well. But I think it's less than 50/50 that Parcells lets Campbell go.

A longshot would be Jamaica Rector, a WR/CB currently on the practice squad. Apparently he's already got good return skills and is impressing lately in practice with his play at WR AND CB.

Pierce is a good one, but why would Campbell leave? Especially for NY?

Shockey and Campbell have a good relationship - Shockey sees DC as a mentor. DC is a free agent at the end of the year.

Who would he replace?

Fujita looks like a keeper and Ware isn't going anywhere.

Thornton would be a quality back at both outside LB positions.

The same thing would have been said about Shanle at the start of this year.

Problem with Kalen Thornton outside of his knee troubles is whether he has the athletic ability to drop back in coverage. Ogbogu has the same limitations and for that reason is only used as a pass rusher in the nickel on the rare occasions that he sees the field.

True, but DC and Witten have a good relationship, too... And more importantly, Dan is from a town about fifty miles down the road, and I'm pretty sure he and his wife like being back in Texas...

Anybody know anything about Fowler? Hes big, seams to play alot on S.T. Last year he was a project, but is he a backup for life or is he still being groomed by Parcells?

Man I really hope it's Kalen. I went to high school with him and it was fun to watch a future NFL caliber player going against the Dallas Christians and Forth Worth Country Days of the world.

is look how many different players people have picked that they have high hopes for.
this bodes very well for the depth on our team.

Wow -- it never even crossed my mind that anyone would prefer living in Texas over New York. How odd.

Unfortunately he's not a FS and he doesn't look like he fits at FS.

So our safeties are no longer interchangeable?

yep completely forgot about Beriault. i would love for him to steal teh FS job next year, he looked like a magnet to the ball this preseason.

Michael Huff would be a great addition if your looking at upgrading FS. If Dallas did that he would become the 2nd kid from Irving to play for the Cowboys. LOL
