Basically the crux of it right there. Romo's numbers are the 2nd best in nfl history.
If he had the team around him that Eli has had, he would have been more successful.
Eli has had a better team and you can tell by the stability of the head coach. His head coach has kept his job since 2004.
We've had Parcells, Phillips, and Garrett in Romo's tenure...
It took Coughlin four years to put together a championship team. Parcells was here from 2003-2006, of which Romo was there for 1 year. Phillips had 3.5 years, and now Garrett has only had 1.5 years.
Our lack of continuity hurts us.
I'm still trying to figure out how we rank so highly in yards every year, but still can't finish.
