Who is the one player from an opposing team you grew to hate as an Cowboys fan?

There are many people who do not like Lebron for whatever reason. I personally don't understand why.

Maybe his ultra confidence comes across as arrogance.

I just thought it was because he's very wealthy and successful - some do not like it. Maybe Lebron claims that he's being fouled too much when playing but from an objective point of view he was amazing viewing last night and to play at that level at 35 years old. Awesome.

I enjoy watching him play that's all.
It has nothing to do with his game.

That Commanders weirdo tight end Chris Cooley who wore tight workout shorts and got in trouble for putting a picture of his wiener out on the the internet. He hated our team and always wanted to show us up. He looked like Nero and I don't doubt he fiddled when the Commanders burned.

I forgot about Cooley. He was another one I hated.

Ben Rottenburger

Much more to do with where I live & Poopsburgh's fans than it does being a Cowboy fan but I can't stand him either way. From his addiction to porn to his touching of young girls to people saying that he was so much better than Romo...can't stand the turd.

OP...your question got my blood pressure up so thanks!

I did not really hate Steve Smith because Terrance usually owned him.

Brandon Jacobs came to my mind.

And TO - I hated him just as much probably

I actually always quite liked Steve Smith. He was always one of my favorite players not on the Cowboys, along with Tony Gonzalez and Brian Urlacher. Not to mention the fact that Steve Smith and I actually interacted quite well during the pregame of the Cowboys at Bears game in December..............my tail may have helped haha.

Well...I know you’re going to attack me over this, but I’ll just say it:

I don’t particularly care for the flopping he does. He’s like 6’8”, jacked 265 but falls to ground like he just got sniped and flails around like a soccer player looking for a bailout card.

Again, kinda like Aaron Rodgers when he gets sacked. He’s got his helmet barely secured for a reason and it’s to sell a cheap 15 yard “contact to the head area” penalty.

Both great players, but still don’t care for their theatrics.

To quote one of my favorite movies:
“I hate him.”
“But, you don’t even know him.”
“Nah...I’m sure of it...I hate him!”

Terry Bradshaw, Joe Theisman

Pretty much every player in a Steeler or a Commanders uniform.

There are some people who dislike Lebron because they love MJ and don't like LBJ being touted as the best player in the history of basketball. So they try to discredit LBJ at every chance they can. E.g. Skip Bayless.

But I hear what you are saying.

Before my time - how good was Terry Bradshaw?
Well, the referees helped him beat the Cowboys twice in the Super Bowl. He was pretty good, winning 4 Super Bowls, but the Steelers and the Refs definitely were on the same squad.

Just about any Cowboys fan from that era knows the pain of watching the Refs help the Steelers out when they would meet.

Fair.

I see him on tv and just think he looks like Robert Duvall. But I try and learn more about the old school players.

The guy could play. He was one of the best ever.
And he fit the personality of the Stealers.

If I meet him on the streets of Heaven one day, I'll probably still grit my teeth. LOL

Why Joe King doesn't like him has nothing to do with this either

He was a big, strong QB for that era, but he was also helped by having an incredibly talented team around him. I would say the most talented team in it's era than the NFL has seen.
