How old are those numbers? doesn’t look very accurate. Should be more current players up higher. They have RW at $30M. He made $57M cash in 2022 and made over $100M before that.

Dak made $75M in cash in 2021 and does about 800 commercials

More than half of them are pretty much broke when they retire and will have health issues.
If they play 4 years they get medical and pension at 55.....if they are broke, it's their own fault. I know many former players and most do pretty well..
Give them more credit and stop assuming and the stereotypes

Roger Staubach

With a net worth of roughly $600 Million, Roger Staubach is the wealthiest NFL (National Football League) player. Behind Roger Staubach is John Madden, with an estimated net worth of $200 Million, followed by Peyton Manning (No. 3, $200 Million); and Tom Brady (No. 4, $180 Million).6 mar 2023
that would be wrong , as jerry richardson was a billionaire , he owned the carolina team, and played for GB and lombardi.
Said lombardi told him to invest the money not spend it, and I guess he did a good job with that.

After your last post, I have to think you’re just fishing for attention.

This is some low value content here, bro.

I read an article on this before and knew the answer when I clicked on the post. I remember trying to guess who it was and was guessing all the relatively newer (Last 5-10 yrs) players because of the salaries and endorsements paid now and was surprised it was Roger. I'm pretty sure it was because of a real estate/construction company he sold.

I also so a video segment one time Alfred Morris and the used car he drove around and how he was reasonable with money. It was a great example for the young players.

Staubach made his large fortune in real estate and associated business dealings. Yeah, he capitalized off of his football fame, but his NFL was not the multibillion dollar “megalith” that it is today.

Or having horrible parents who steal their money like Bernie Kosar, or like idiots who wind up in jail and go broke, like Lenny Dykstra, or guys who make poor business decisions like Johnny Unitas, Curt Schilling, and Mark Brunell.

Can't forget about drunks like John Daly who loss money, lames like Dorothy Hamill who went broke, Darren McCarty who went broke.

I guess it's just as bad as the people like Brett Favre who go around stealing from people in need or like the Enron guy who stole millions from innocent people Well, historically that's been the norm for some cultures.
Some glaring financial failures! Of course, the vast majority is simple morons blowing it on bling, houses, cars, and entourages.

You can’t take the money with you, and as much as I’m an advocate for utilizing the wealth you get as professionals wisely, I also don’t see an issue with treating yourself. These guys work so hard to get to this point, and deserve to enjoy the fruits of their labor. Like anything in life, a healthy balance is best

Yea I should have looked first. But I read another one that puts him at 145 million. I doubt any of them are real close..
The info is public record so the real number is out there
I don’t remember how many dealerships he had total
Doesn’t he own some papa John’s too?

Bernie Kosar certainly won’t be part of that list. He went bankrupt years ago and the last I heard his net worth was only $100,000.

That may not be accurate after a divorce and his investments in crypto
Both cost a lot of money
Brady really didn’t maximize his enforcement income as a player either
I've seen Brady's Net Worth as high as 333 mil after the divorce.
His ex-wife's NW is about 400
so other than some legal fees, he didn't pay out anything in the divorce.

But he probably did take a hit from cryto if he has sold it already (realized losses)
