Too many variables, so I will name some that I have never missed a movie they were in……a must see for me.

Stallone
Eastwood
Denzel
Arnold
Sir Sean Connery
Eddie Murphy

As for female, don’t really have a must see but there are a few that I try not to miss.

Salma Hayek
Marissa Tomei
Sandra Bullock
Aniston

It's amazing how times have changed. Most every actor/actress mentioned aren't from todays generation(s). Goes to show, even in this category, they don't make them like they use to.

There are some out there that are younger; but my personal opinion is that its a case of so much more drek around then there was before. Kardashians anyone? The epitome of all time drek.

Neither gets a lot of love for their acting because of the pretty boy image that Newman and Redford used to shoulder but DiCaprio and Pitt are excellent actors.

It’s not talked about much, but along with the movie theater, another thing quickly becoming obsolete is the gigantic movie star. It’s gigantic franchise now. Tom Cruise might be the last one standing who can get $100 million in every release?

here's a catch 22,...i was eager to see Top Gun Maverick because of its daredevil aerial jet stunts and fights, ..not Tom Cruise ,,

I have to put them in categories of old and new.

Old:

Bob Hope
Errol Flynn
Cary Grant

Mae West
Donna Reed
Bette Davis (I never thought her acting was particularly good, but I find her compelling to watch)

New:

Anthony Hopkins
Will Smith
Gene Hackman
Denzel

Margot Robbie

I have to admit, modern female actresses annoy me for some reason.
As a young kid, Errol Flynn was my favorite actor, he was in those cool old swashbuckler movies like "Captain Blood", "The Seahawk", "Robin Hood" or westerns like "They Died With Their Boots On" or some kind of old school adventure movie, "The Charge Of The Light Brigade" was pretty awesome. In those pre-cable TV days, stayed up late on weekends to watch those old movies.

My favorite actress as a young kid was Lauren Bacall, she didn't strike as most of the leading ladies of her day, she always seemed tougher, she wasn't the typical damsel in distress.

I couldn't pick a fav now, way too many.
