Too early for me, but right now I think they need to improve the defense and especially the defensive line. Considering Golston and Odighizuwa are free agents after this season, Joseph is washed up, and Mazi might be a bust, I think they need to look at DT first. They may never get another chance at the best DT in the draft for years so this would be the time to take one.

Hunter will be gone, otherwise Jerry would reflux on himself trying to spit out his name too quickly.

By default, due to poor play at the position, if Graham is there you have to roll the dice on a Meeshigan D-lineman. In fairness, based on film I like the odds of this one panning-out a little better.

If Graham’s gone you have to consider TMc. There’s just not a legit #2 and snagging Mingo Ate My Baby doesn’t solve the receiver riddle. Tolbert’s not the answer to anything except, “Name a Cowboys JAG receiver that’s nothing more than marginally serviceable?”

Avoid the urge to take the RB. It’s a ‘child’s favorite toy’ pick when you have a few long standing deficiencies at other key positions. Grab a good back a couple rounds later to pair with Dowdle.

We need so much that it's a flip of the coin who we take. For sure it won't be a running back unless we trade down.

Hunter will not fall far enough for Dallas. But the problem with the Cowboys are the TRENCHES on BOTH sides of the ball.
Hunter doesn't help in either. Great talent but Dallas needs so much. A truck load of help is needed. Starting @ GM

Trade down, in the draft, because Jerry will not fill holes in FA. And if Jerry wants to sell more jerseys, ( not more wins), he will sell more FOOLS GOLD and bring "hope" by sign Parsons to another record breaking contract which will then limit EVEN MORE, the chances of FA visits. Even more UDFA will be brought in.

So who would I vote for? At this time, I can say but the past two seasons, Dallas draft has been BAD / Horrible

Out of those guys, Graham, but I’d be ok with any of them.

I wouldn’t be super excited with the OTs - not because I don’t think they’re good players. But because this team throws a lot of high draft picks at the OL as it is.

I’d be perfectly happy with Carter. It’d actually be a great pick. He and Micah off the edges would be filthy.

Carter.
IMO, a couple more wins could put us in Jeanty territory........
Yeah, the value now will likely be Jeanty. We're likely gonna miss on all the blue chip guys, gotta take the best one available.

Our first pick should be the best defensive lineman available. I know it's the player and not the helmet, but I'm still very leery of Michigan DT's. But if it's clearly Graham, you take him and pray.
But I have a nagging gut feeling that JJ and co. will take a DE, or even a WR over any DT that early.
He could fall in love with the idea of the 2 PSU DE's attacking at the same time.

I don’t think DE is a massive first round need.

Micah, Kneeland, Williams and bring back Golston.

Not saying you don’t address it early and I love Peace and Abdul. i will also change my mind 100 times before April

I don't know the prospects yet and I want to take a player in the top 10 who will be one of your top 10 players for the next 6-8 years. But for me, I want a DE opposite of Micah. Lawrence may not be back next year and we have no idea if Sam Williams can fill that spot. This defense is built on pressure. Demarvian is a play making linebacker and our corners are playmakers on the ball. I think we have had the right plan the last several years. We just needed better DT. Although if a DT isn't going to be a really good pass rusher, you can find them different ways. If you can get back to an "A" level pass rush with your top 4, that will fix a lot of issues. Then fix the RB position and this team looks better.

Lets be honest they are never going to win with Jerry, but at least you won't be a clown show...outside the Front office.
