What bubble player makes team now that Orlando won't count on the 53?

Bishop, Gardner or Showers one of them I believe benefits from this. The Break wasn't sure about these 3

Danny McCray. They probably wanted to keep him for special teams but he was an easy target for being cut if they wanted to keep all developmental players with upside.

Any of those unknown CBs on the roster right now can be kept on the practice squad. They still have 5 CBs:
Carr
Jones
White
Patmon
Claiborne

I say Tim Scott. He has shown much more than Heath and McCray.
This most likely will not open a roster spot for another position, only secures a spot for another DB. I would bet they keep a combination 2 of the 3 in Scott, Heath, McCray.

I can't believe we may lose Ken Bishop and we're gonna keep Hayden. I just don't get it.

We'll make some team aching at DT happy with that cut.

Yes, it would suck if Bishop gets cut.

He is a player that I've focused on in the preseason games and I can't see how they can think Hayden is better. Bishop is strong and quick for a 1tech. He does not appear to be making any mistakes. Coleman flashes more but also makes more mistakes.

Swaim (I was keeping him over Hanna anyway) ... although I could see us keeping Gibson now.

My breakdown is:

QBs: Romo, Weeden, Vaughan (Showers on PS)

RBs: Randle, McFadden, Dunbar, Clutts (Johnson on PS)

TEs: Witten, Escobar, Swaim, Hanna

WRs: Bryant, Williams, Beasley, Street, Whitehead (Harwell, Porter on PS)

OL: Smith, Leary, Frederick, Martin, Free, Weems, Collins, Bernadeau (Gibson on PS, Green on PUP)

DL: Mincey, T. Crawford, Coleman, Lawrence, Gregory, J. Crawford, Hayden, T. McClain, Bishop, Russell, Gardner (Hardy suspended, Obada on PS)

LB: Lee, Hitchens, Wilber, Wilson, Brinkley, Gachkar (McClain suspended, K. Smith on PS)

DBs: Carr, Church, Wilcox, Claiborne, Jones, White, Patmon, Heath, McCray (Scott on PS)

ST: Bailey, Ladouceur, Jones

I acknowledge that keeping 11 DL is a little high (especially since we'd actually be keeping 12 with Hardy), so one of those guys might go for a ninth OL. We also could keep Keith Smith over one of the DL if he continues to play like he did the other night and contribute on ST.

Player not on the squad yet til other teams make cuts.

I don't think Hayden and DT McClain are locks for the roster. Neither have practiced much. In their absence, Coleman and Bishop have been more than adequate and have shown improvement over last year and potential to get even better. The arrow is pointing up for Coleman and Bishop and down for Hayden and McClain.

Right now, if I had to guess, I would say Bishop and Coleman make the roster over Hayden and McClain to start the season. It will be their job to keep as the season progresses. If they can't get the job done several weeks into the season, maybe Hayden will be brought back. I doubt anyone picks up Hayden. McClain might be available later since there is a better than 50/50 probability no one picks him up either.

The good news is that our 54th, 55th and so on choices are not bad.

We were looking at having to cut players like Bishop, Gardner and Swaim for lack of room and numbers at other positions.

Now, there's a few players who I think will make the team because of position but not because they are real good choices, such as Weeden and McCray.

I can't see Hayden going anywhere, but I do think McClain could lose his spot.

Pretty much what I have, except I replaced Scott with either Heath or McCray. And have Keith Smith on the roster until McClain returns. For his spot, I taken off Vaughan or Terrell McClain if he does not get healthy and show something.

McCray and Heath are the same player, crappy safeties and decent ST players. Heath probably a little better at S. We haven't missed McCray for the last couple of years, and Heath has been OK at special teams. These two are easily upgraded, they should not be considered locks on the 53. Hopefully Scanrdick's slot can be filled at cut down from another team, I do think that it will come in the form of a DB, who can play ST and be serviceable at S.

Why? What has Hayden done so far in camp? Nothing. Hayden isn't making the final roster unless he shows something soon, like right now, No one is picking him up if the Cowboys cut him, So, he is a safe cut that the Cowboys can always add a week or two or three into the season. Not so with Bishop.

The same goes for McClain, hasn't done a thing in camp and seems to always be injured.

I'm hoping the player to replace O Scan is another teams roster cut. If not then i would rather try to keep our defensive linemen.
