Grange and Nagurski are good picks too. You have a nice mix of different eras represented there. Good job.


People forget that Halas was a heckuva player also.

The hardest picks on this are guys like Bruce Matthews. He wasn't the tackle that Ron Yary was but I favored his versatility. Same with Chuck Bednarik over Mike Webster.

I wanted to put Lou Groza on there but the last man on the fifty was Emmitt Smith and he'd have been hard to cut on a Cowboys site. I suppose I could have deleted Upchurch and had Sanders return punts but Upchurch was the best returner I ever saw and is overlooked far too often.

QB- Troy Aikman (I don't care, he brings what I want on my team to the table that no other QB brings)
RB- LT (The guy is a machine)
FB- Jim Brown (He is in my offense a FB)
TE- Jay Novacek (Have to reallign him with Troy- that's what was our secret weapon in the 90's more than anything else)
WR- TO (Want the 'tude)
WR- Michael Irvin (I have a vision of WRs and other teams will be scared!)
