I'm a BPA guy. My preferred drafting philosophy says that you take the best player available and tailor your playbook to fit your talent. You don't need two starting QB's or three centers, though, so common sense plays a part too. If a guy falls, like Barr, Mack or one of the top OT's, he's my pick. I'd think long and hard about Bortles, Manziel or Sammy Watkins. If any of those players are still on the board when we're up, there's sure to be a bunch of teams wanting to trade up. I think the most likely scenario is that we'll be looking at a collection of guys, like Ealy, Jernigan, Donald, Martin, Clinton-Dix, Pryor, etc. Of those, I think the best player at his position is probably Clinton-Dix.
Unlike a lot of people, I'm a big fan of Louis Nix and would not be at all opposed to selecting him at 16/17 and moving to a defensive philosophy similar to Seattle's, especially since we already have press corners.
