I would say Kellen Moore might be the top choice because of his familiarity with Dak and the investment they just made with his ridiculous contract.

Because he has not coached since 2021, the last time a team he coached made the playoffs was in 2007. He has a career record of 117-112 as a HC. What exactly makes this guy a great HC? McCarthy is a way better coach then Gruden

They’ll wait until all the hot candidates are hired away, sit on their hands and then bring in some coach like either Ron Rivera or Rex Ryan or Jay Gruden

I think Moore has learned in his time in Philly of what a good run game does for you and hiding your QB's inefficiencies. He likely builds an offense around a strong o-line and run game, along with what he already was successful with in Dallas. This pick could work in a lot of ways, he got CeeDee Lamb out of his shell in those first 3 years making him a better playmaker every year with opportunities.

Moore IF he wants it its his job. Jerry likes to bring Guys up and look like the Genius. Moores offense is tailor made for Dak and he knows the verbiage already. Moore learned you need killer Run game & Killer D-Line to win games... i think he would bring in a DC from Philly Defensive Coaching staff. They will be able to come out of the gates swigging with Moore as Dak does not need to re-learn a offense, we would need to spend money which Jerry will do now that mikes gone and he wants his boy to look good.

all in all i think its a good fit IF kellen wants the job.

We hire Deion. Then trade away Parsons and a ton of high draft picks for Shadeur. Deion turns us into an even more undisciplined team than we already are and Shadeur is a bust. Cowboys are bottom feeders for 5+ years.
