I'll be rooting for the Cowboys to win their next five games.
Sure Dallas is better at home but I don’t think we’d have trouble beating Tampa on the road. Seattle or Rams would be a much tougher game at home.Dallas much better at home.
Need the 2 seed to have a chance to win more than 1
I hear you.Sure Dallas is better at home but I don’t think we’d have trouble beating Tampa on the road. Seattle or Rams would be a much tougher game at home.
We will more than likely have to beat 49ers at their place anyway. Whether we play them in the divisional or championship game and lose does it really matter? The goal is the Super Bowl… anything else is a let down.
Also the NFC East title means something to me too. I know the Super Bowl is what really matters but I would take pride in not letting Philly win the division again.Anyone wanting an easy road game versus two guaranteed home games needs to find a shrink stat! I don’t care what team goes to Dallas as long as they go to Dallas.
Thank youAnyone wanting an easy road game versus two guaranteed home games needs to find a shrink stat! I don’t care what team goes to Dallas as long as they go to Dallas.
Haha I get it. I don’t really care about anything other than winning a Super Bowl. Getting to a championship game really means nothing to me if we lose.I hear you.
I just like our chances of finally--after 30+ years--getting to the NFC Champ game if we are the 2 seed.
meanwhile, SF could lose in the Divisional round and then we really would have an advantage with a home game to go to the Super Bowl.
Just think if we cant get past whoever we face in the wildcard, then who cares?
LolI’m rooting for Washington and Philly to win. I want the 5 seed… Tampa is a much easier first game than Seattle or Rams. I don’t care that we will have to play 49ers in the divisional round… we will have to beat them at their place anyway to get where we want to go.
This sounds great and all until we get knocked out first game by Seattle or Rams.Anyone wanting an easy road game versus two guaranteed home games needs to find a shrink stat! I don’t care what team goes to Dallas as long as they go to Dallas.
Denying Dallas the division in the final week will be their Super Bowl... ourselves to beat Washington.
Dallas is not good on the road, that is all that is needed to know. If Dallas loses at home round one, so be it and a better chance of change in the offseason. There won’t be any change if they get knocked out in the divisional round on the road with a playoff win. This sounds great and all until we get knocked out first game by Seattle or Rams.
I would rather play Tampa/49ers vs Seattle/Lions. We more than likely have to beat 49ers anyway and if we do by some miracle beat them it would be huge momentum going forward.
Essentially you're in favor of potentially NEVER seeing AT&T again. The place where we're 16-0 recently?I’m rooting for Washington and Philly to win. I am yes. Because I think Tampa is an easier game on the road than Seattle/Rams is at home. We are going to 49ers no matter what… and if we by some miracle beat 49ers at their place I’m not worried about the championship game at all.Essentially you're in favor of potentially NEVER seeing AT&T again. Who should we be rooting for?
There is no scenario where the 5 seed is better than the 2 seed. Stop all of this total nonsenseDepends on who you think the Cowboys would have an easier time with. The Rams and Seahawks both have weapons that can turn the game into a shootout.
Also, let's say disaster strikes next week and Dallas is indeed the 5 seed. Is it better to go play the NFC South winner on the road, or get the Rams/Seahawks/Packers/Vikings at home?
To answer your question, if you don't want to see Seattle, root for the Steelers. Won't officially eliminate them but would make it harder for them to get in.
They are good enough to beat Tampa IMO. That’s a fair point if you are someone who wants things blown up in the offseason. I’m not that guy. I think Dallas is missing some key pieces (O-Line & RB) from being a Super Bowl team.Dallas is not good on the road, that is all that is needed to know. If Dallas loses at home round one, so be it and a better chance of change in the offseason. There won’t be any change if they get knocked out in the divisional round on the road with a playoff win.
I agree. I would rather face a "better" team at home than go on the road to play the NFC South winner just because there is a narrative that it's "easier".There is no scenario where the 5 seed is better than the 2 seed. Stop all of this total nonsense
I disagree. The only way I agree is if we don’t have to play Rams or Seattle first round. There is no scenario where the 5 seed is better than the 2 seed. Stop all of this total nonsense
