Who should we re-sign first, Tyron Smith or Dez Bryant?

It depends how much Dez wants and especially how his back is doing. Where is the 'it depends' option?

I'm seeing alot more concern about the status of Dez back before signing him to a contract as opposed to Sean Lee's deal which was highly praised around these parts. One of these guys has missed 5 games in 4 years and the other has missed 18. So something's not adding up here to me

Maybe because the money Dez could fetch would dwarf that of what Lee got.

His production has also dwarfed that of Lee's, he should walk into Jerry's office and name his price

They are all cornerstones and will all get paid. Old contracts expire and are replaced with new contracts. The cap goes up and if your team is built through the draft, which Dallas is, it's easier to manage the cap.

Continue to draft well and there will be plenty of room to sign Dez, TSmith and even give Murray a bump(I wouldn't over pay for a RB).

When their cap hits get big, Carr, Witten, Free, Austin, Ware, Mack, Orton and Free will be gone.

smith has a 5th year option in his contract. cheaper now to sign him but that option is availible. both will be signed to new contracts but i suspect dez will be first because i don't think his contract has a 5th year option built in

Yup sign dez, and be forced to move Free to LT since he did so great there, and maybe forced to start Parnell at RT who has started 2 NFL games in his 5 year career. Who blows a tire every season, and has lost a step. Weems who was released by 4 teams in 2012 alone.

Yup should be fun, defense's would be so scared of us, because we have Doug Free

*Yawn*
