no i would trade FLO n Barber...in a pakaged deal....like for a 1st or 2nd.....or get a player....hell i might even throw Colombo in there...maybe

but barber n FLO need to go...im sick of barber wasting a carry...and Flo, killin a drive....i like him..but it sickens me

i am not saying you cant false start...but every game? then you wanna hold most of the times
Flo actually improved on his false starts this year (only had 6, I think, vs 9 last year). Also, if I'm not mitaken, Witten actually had more false starts than Flo this year.

Flo probably has one more year in him. He played pretty good at the end of the season. Colombo will be back if he can get back in shape. I think Free will start one day when either Flo or Colombo are gone.

I'm hoping somebody can beat Kosier out for his spot in training camp. I don't think he's a very good pass blocker and he's not a great run blocker either. He is good at making blocks on the second level. Brewster, or somebody they draft in the 2nd or 3rd round this season.

I think they envision Ball as a future starter at safety. I would guess free safety because he isn't a particularly great tackler. I think Pat Watkins has probably played his last season in Dallas. He'll go somewhere like New England and help them out.

With just a little bit better blocking up front and better production out of Uno Uno (maybe catching 25% more of the balls thrown to him) the offense would take a pretty big step forward. I think they got on a good roll as the season went by and know what they want to do, except for Roy.

Defensively they are pretty solid up front but getting another good young tackle or end in the first round is never a bad thing. If you can replace Olshansky or Spears with somebody who can give even better production, they'll be that much better. Otherwise, minor improvements in the secondary (depth at CB, maybe an improvement over Sensabaugh) could make them good enough to stand up to Minnesota's and New Orlean's offenses.
Here's the deal with Kosier: When he went down last year, the offense suffered greatly. You rarely hear his name called in a game, which is a good thing for an O-lineman. He isn't the best in the league at his position, but you can't afford an all-pro at every position. He is absolutely, positively very serviceable and relatively cheap. He's worth more than he's getting paid right now.

Who will be released
---
Flozell Adams - With the emergence of Doug Free, his salary and his age, I see the Cowboys parting ways with him. He's been a good Cowboy, but the cord has to be cut before the team regrets it. They won't be able to trade him, so they'll just cut him.

Who should be released
---
Flozell Adams
Marion Barber
Ken Hamlin

I think people need to stop thinking in terms of money, it doesnt matter anymore!!!!!

Who cares how much Flo makes, or Barber makes, or Hamlin makes, it doesnt matter because the cap is going bye bye and is never coming back in its current form (according to the NFLPA, they say you cant put the genie back in the bottle and the Union will never approve a new CBA that includes a cap).

Thats their words, not mine. So taking them at face value, money is no longer going to be a factor. The issue is "do we have somebody better to replace a player with"???

Is there a better scenario than Flo at LT, Columbo at RT, and Free being the Swing Tackle as the primary backup to both starters??? If you think Free is better than one of the starters and the starter being replaced refused to be a backup, then you trade or release him. Otherwise, you sit pat until you acquire the talent (through draft or FA) that will allow you to make a move.

Flozell would provide quality depth if kept. ...assuming you find a quality player to replace him.

As for Colombo...he had ONE bad game...settle down.

Flo-
I think: Hes about done, and if he falls off the cliff it could ruin a promising season
I think Jerry thinks: Hes been so good for years he deserves another shot

Hamlin-
I think: He didnt get beat much b/c our rush is so good. Id cut him and move Ball to FS, then draft a CB mid roundish.
I think Jerry thinks: Hes our capítan! W/O him the D would line up backwards.

Carpenter- One more year on contract
I think: His bad plays stand out to us and he serves a purpose.
I think Jerry thinks: Something similar

Colombo-
I never liked him, injury or not.
Jerry thinks: nothing of this b/c it wont get discussed

If you suggest RW you lose b/c its not happening so stop

Easy one.

Your dad.

whats all this BS about moving ball to safety..first off hamlin is a much better safety then ball so that makes no sense. If someones gna replace Hamlin its gna be a stud in the draft someone like Thomas, or Burnett Or Johnson.

Anderson a new one.

Whys that?

cause he is JAG. Phillips is an equal blocker and a better threat in the passing game.

Well here is my list.

Flozell Adams (cut or trade) replace with Marcus McNeil (OT CHARGERS) or draft choice/or choices
Kyle Kosier (cut) and replace him with (Max Gin Giles) (OG EAGLES)
_________________________________________________________
or unless you turn Marcus McNeil to a Left Guard and Doug Free to Left Tackle....
Marion Barber (trade) draft choices/or high draft pick (or if cut get L.T.)
R.W. 11 (cut or trade) if cut, replace him with either Vincent Jackson or Brandon Marshall, I rather have VJ along side Miles Austin. (Two home-run hitters)
HAMLIN (STAYS) who are you going to replace him with? (Eric Berry yes, MAYS no)
COLUMBO (STAYS) he is one of the more solid offensive lineman on this team.

Im going off of NO Capped year....

Deon Anderson, Marion Barber, Ken Hamlin, and a few others that aren't starting. I don't necessarily think Barber needs to be cut, hopefully traded for a good player.
