Bernardau knows what to do, I just don't think he can physically match up with Fletcher Cox. I'd rather roll with the more talented Collins.
If Leary can't go Sunday, I suspect it will be Collins with Bernadeau backing up since he can play multiple positions
Collins is getting 1st team reps at LG. He may be splitting reps with Berny. I think they may give the kid a shot.

What game were you watching?
Leary was fantastic before getting hurt.
What post were you reading ?
After re-watching that game last night.....It's Collins for me for the rest of the year. Ron Leary was brutal Sunday night. Continually got pushed backwards......didn't reach the second level to cut off the LBers...not once did he complete assignment...and it was his guy making the tackle all the time. Our run game would have been great if it wasn't for Leary's sub par play. IMO I think part of his injury was because he was getting pushed backwards all night long by Hankins. You would think 2 big guys would normally stalemate each other....not Sunday Night.
Berny or Collins? I'd like to see Collins because I want the nastiest run blocking line out there. But I can see them deferring to Berny because he's more experienced at picking up inside blitzes and stunts.
Easy answer. Leary if he is healthy enough. Leary said today he was ahead of schedule and it would be a game time decision based on how he felt.
If Leary can't go, then its whoever practices better this week between Collins and Bern. The staff knows what Bern can do, so they are most likely putting the work load on Collins to see if he can earn their trust. So if Collins wows them, I would expect him to start. If he doesn't then Bern will go.
For the longest time I was pissed that Collins wasn't brought in to replace Free but now it makes sense why he got so much time at LG. Apparently they saw something and were expecting Leary to breakdown.
Why else would u stick a top tier tackle prospect at guard?
Leary may never get his job back

On the serious...up against a top DT like Cox you do NOT put in a rookie unless he is really really good. Bernie will start.
actually its not physical with Bernie- he can pretty much go toe to toe with anyone as regards strength and quickness. Its between the ears that has always been his weakness.Bernardau knows what to do, I just don't think he can physically match up with Fletcher Cox. I'd rather roll with the more talented Collins.

I'm carbo-loading as we speak. I have plans to stay at a Holiday Inn Express for a full week and I'm watching YouTube videos on technique like crazy and I know a crazy Russian with illegal/legal substances that he says are guaranteed.
The guys seems legit and how can you not trust a guy named Boris the Blade? I heard he can't be killed...
