Too expensive to franchise Dez. His contract will get done. Just posturing right now.

Much cheaper to franchise Murray if we need to. I like Murray but I don't think he is special because he just lack that suddenness and extra gear to be elite. For the same money I take AP for 2 years and draft someone again.

I think Free stays until we develop a viable option. FA Tackles have too many warts.

Carr stays only because of contract but it will get majorly reworked.

No I don't see it.

They'll give him a chance to play in '15.

If you think they're just going to release him after having recently just signing the extension... Well I think that's speaking from a position of "fan-frustration" as opposed to the reality of the situation.

I normally don't like to get ahead but its bye week and I'm bored. And I think we have more than enough sample size. This is really based on the top of my head, I'm sure the cap people will say some of this isn't possible but here goes:

Obviously keeping dez and Murray won't be easy but I think jerry finds a way. Would love to add Mo to the go list but I think his contract is guaranteed so he probably sticks another year. Nothing against free but Parnell is younger and will be cheaper. Carr just isn't worh the money and carter is just too inconsistent

agree with most of your list, except for Free. He is solid on the running game specially playing the tackle on the strong side.

not sure about keeping Durant given his age.

I am on the fence about carter. he can be a starter but the effort is not consistent. not sure if his knee still bothers him...

lee is not going anywhere. he just signed a new deal and he is not going anywhere till after 2016

Of course.

Again I understand the frustrations of the fans, but releasing Lee doesn't make economic sense.

His cap hit for 2015 is $5.4 mil, BUT he would create $9.8 mil in dead money.

Not going to happen.
