Before you respond consider these facts:

- Drew Bledsoe is the best quarterback that Keyshawn has ever had.

- Keyshawn has never been on pace for less than 900 yards in a single season. And even his sub 1000 yard seasons, there have been clear reasons for it. This is also the best offense Keyshawn has ever been in.

- Drew Bledsoe is the best non-west coast quarterback, Terry Glenn has ever had.

- The only time Terry Glenn has produced less than 900 yards in a full or fairly full season, he has been in an unfamiliar west coast offense, or with Quincy Carter.

- Drew Bledsoe has always had a good season when he had the proper weapons around him.

- Jason Witten posted up 980 yards with Vinny Testaverde.

- Keyshawn Johnson posted up 981 yards with Vinny Testaverde last year.

- Drew Bledsoe loves tight ends.

- Our offensive line is better than last years.

- Our run support is better than last years.

These facts tell me that if our offense stays healthy, we should have 3 1000 yard receivers, and that our offense should be fairly productive. Especially next year.

You need to fix your thread title....I was thinking you thought we could have 3 1000 yard RUSHERS.

Too early. I can't see it happening though. Julius will still carry the load when he's healthy.

Don't think so. Key and Witten got some of those yards Glenn would have got when he missed 10 games. When was the last time other than last year's Colts that a team had 3 1,000 yard receivres?

Glenn will have to stay healthy a full season anyway, can't bet on that happening.

Before believing that Johnson and Witten got Glenn's receptions look at their pace before Glenn went down.

One's about as likely as the other, Jimz.

To answer the poster's original ?, no...won't happen. I don't even think we'll have 2 1000 yard receivers...just won't happen.

I'll be mighty pleased if we have 1 1000 yard receiver and 1 1000 yard rusher. It's been quite awhile since we had that combination in Dallas.

Key's pace didn't change much, but Witten's averaged about 32 more yards per game when Glenn went out.

Plus we through the ball 6 times more per game on average when Julius was out. If he stays healthy, the # of passes shouldn't be as high.....at least I'd hope not since I think Julius will be a big weapon.

I think Julius will easily get 1000 rushing.

I'd be pretty surprised if our WRs or Witten did but I expect them to approach it.

we are going to run the ball primarily this year. however, witten and glenn will probably get 1000 or so with key getting around 750.

Tuff one to say. Yeah I think this could happen. If Witten and Key can get nearly 1000 yards with someone like Vinny throwin them the ball then I think 1000 for each of them could be very real with Bledsoe throwing them the ball.

All the WRs should get better yards after the catch to. Bledsoe throws the so much harder then Vinny did that it will allow them to have more space to make longer runs. Defenders won't be able to close in on the reciever as fast as they did when Vinny threw the ball.

IMO I think we have the talent for 3 1000 yard WRs. Key Glenn and Witten. But I think cuz of the offense we will run that is the only reason we will NOT have 3 1000 yard WRs. BP will want to pound the ball down the Ds throat and with JJ Barber and A-Train we will be running the ball alot and trying to run out the clock with long drives.

If BP wanted to go with a big air attack offense then yeah I can easily see us having 3 1000 yard WR if they all stayed healthy.

I think we threw less because of Vinny, not because of Julius. Vinny clearly was done by the time Julius came back.

As for Witten getting more, attribute that to the loss of Antonio Bryant, rather than the loss of Glenn. I believe Glenn + Bryant + Witten > Morgan + Witten + Crayton. Also attribute to him playing better in the second half of the season.

Witten had 87 receptions last year. Thats an average of 5.43 per game. He averaged 5 per game in the games Glenn played in.

Morgan had 22 receptions with us in 9 games. Bryant had 16 in 5 games.

Keyshawn was averaging 4.5 receptions per game with glenn, and 4.3 without him. 4.66 not including his final game where he was injured.

I doubt it. It's a rarity to begin with, and it would mean we're not doing very well. There have been exceptions in Parcells career, but in general he's a ball control guy.

As for KJ, TG and JW last year, here are their stats for the first 5,6 and 7 games last year, with projection adjustments after each total. The last two figures are what they actually ended up posting.

After 5 games
KJ-22/295----70/944/13.5
JW-22/195----70/624/8.9
TG-23/394----74/1261/17.0

After 6 games(TG injured)
KJ-27/368----72/981/13.6
JW-30/307----80/819/10.2
TG-24/400----64/1067/16.7

After 7 games
KJ-30/448----69/1024/14.8
JW-39/391----89/894/10.0

Actual
KJ-70/981/14.0
JW-87/980/11.3
TG-24/400/16.7

Other WR/TE:
63/809/12.8

KJ ended up right around where he was projected when Terry went down, although his role changed Bryant gone and Morgan dinged in his first game here. With these figures, it's easy to figure out that Witten became the guy that took up the slack. I wouldn't be surprised to see similiar numbers this coming season, especially if Morgan steps it up, Crayton emerges or both.

I think we threw less because Julius > George. Also this D should be better this year, so passes should go down. But we'll have to see of course (and keep our fingers x'd).

All 32 more yards per game that Jason started getting should be atrributed to the loss of Bryant, not the loss of Glenn? Nah, don't buy that.

Why are you giving averages in catches per game and not yards per game? It's the yards that'll matter if we'll see 3 1,000 yard recievers.

Your idea is plausible, but I think highly unlikely.

i dont think we will. i would be happy if we had 1 wr with 1000+
and a running back with 1200+ and a couple guys close to 750
catching the ball. i would certainly enjoy watching it if it happens though.

Key and Witten, yes. Glenn, no. I just think once Bledsoe gets warmed up, the appeal of his former reciever {Glenn} is going to fade very fast once he gets a load of what those other two can do. Glenn will be our deep threat, but I believe Bledsoe will focus in on the big-tall recievers. As someone else said, he's always liked the TE's... well with Key, it's like he has 2.

And with Glenn, it's a throw the ball and then hold your breath for his diving trapese act. With Key and Witten, it's throw, they reach their hands up and pull it in, period. They're big, they're easy to hit...not to mention easier to see.

It's going to be a long year for Glenn running around as he's looked over in favor of another bigger reciever on most passing plays. He's more less our "change of pace" reciever.

I don't think we will because I expect us to run a more balanced offense and not throw that much to have 3 1,000 yard receivers. Last season Dallas was forced to pass more than they wanted to if things go right this season and Jones can stay healthy I expect to see the passing yardage numbers go down a bit.
