The Dolphins took John Beck, QB, BYU in the 2nd round. Since the middle of last year I have touted him as someone I'd like us to grab.

The Bears took Dan Bazuin, DE, Central Michigan. I was a bit surprised he went in the 2nd round. The kid has a great motor though.

The Saints took Robert Meachem, WR,, Tennessee. When he was there at 22 I had my hopes up even though I already knew Spencer was our target.

The 49ers took Patrick Willis, ILB, Mississippi. When I accepted the fact my man love for Laron Landry was going to be unrequited I transferred it to Willis and then to Meachem as I watched Willis rise up the charts.

Sigh. The Commanders took Laron Landry, FS, LSU. A Landry in Washington just seems wrong.

Those were mine. Who were yours?

I wanted Teddy Ginn Jr., however, I never dreamed he would be drafted that high.......so, I am extremely happy with the extra #1 pick next year which could turn into HOG HEAVEN!

Great job Hos on the radio broadcast last night!

Thanks. You should have called the show. We had an open line for callers and only got one. That was fun. Tune in tonight when we break down the entire Cowboys draft.

Meachem to NOLA.

Rice to the Vikings.

Grubbs to the ravens(?).

After that I didn't have many pets - I really didn't like this draft, or it's lack of depth. I like where we sit today.

My pet for day 2 is Michael Bush - I would LOVE to take him and let him sit for a year. It's just silly to hope for McFadden. He would:

1) Have to be dominant again
2) If 1 happens, Cleveland would have to be the worst team in the league
3) Julius would have to not break out

And a slew of other issues. Take Bush - if Jones doesn't pan out, go into 2008 with MBIII, Bush and possibly another draft pick.

I was a big fan of drafting Meachem at 22. When that didn't happen I was hoping to snag Rice or the falling Jarrett in the second.

I didn't have any pet cats but I was glad we didn't have to make the decision on drafting Meriweather.

The Ravens got Grubbs, freakin' anybody but them. He is going to be a very solid player for them. Grrrr...

Houston got Okoye, not that I hate Houston, just that I think Okoye will be a player for many years in this league.

KC got Tank Tyler, although a lil' bit of a project, he could turn out to be a very good player.

Philly got Kevin Kolb... Yeah just kidding. :D

Atlanta got Blalock, I hate the Falcons, more bandwagon fans than even the Panthers.

Well, the 49ers took Jason Hill. I had sorta a pet cat/man crush on him.

One guy thats still out there that I like is, Josh Gattis the free safety from Wake Forest.

So, I guess we shall see what goes on today.
