He's a special teams player. Have you guys watched him play? You guys know how Lebron puts powder on his hands before each game to grip the ball? Well Ginn puts baby oil apparently on his hands because he can't catch for damn. Goodness.

:laugh2:

I'm gonna have to steal that line. :D

Whether the Roy Williams trade turns out to be a good trade or not remains to be seen. Roy isn't killing us, but so far he has not shown that he was worth what was traded for him. I think you could probably put Hurd in for him and the production would be about the same, and Hurd has better hands than Roy.

In fairness though, not every trade is going to be a home run. We are getting some production from Roy, just not what we would like. Then again, we are getting awesome production from Austin for a little of nothing, so it evens out.

The Roy Williams trade will have to be judged over the length of his stay. The jury is still out on him.

The problem that I have with the Roy Willams trade is that we could have traded up and gotten Peterson for a little bit more than the Willams deal, and it would have probably been more cap friendly. If you put Peterson on this team, it makes this team the super bowl favorite every year he is healthy.

Then again, Peterson could suffer a career ending injury tomorrow, and it would make this post look silly. That is the nature of the game.

Ted Ginn Jr
18 catches 211yards 1 Td

RW
14 catches 249 yards 2 TD

Ted Ginn Jr has played in all of the dolphins game. He also has one yard game this season and 2 catches with out a catch. This dude is trash. LoL.

He hasn't looked the same since that TD celebration injury that ended his college career. He doesn't seem as fast and doesn't cut like he used to.

Ginn can't even make it as consistant WR on a team that is devoid of WRs. He was essentially benched a week or two ago. What exactly is he supposed to do in Dallas?

Seriously, I know we're angry that Roy sucks, but even considering this trade just shows ur taking it to another level of absurdity.

Ted Ginn Jr. had already lost his starting spot and probably would've been cut before those 100 yard kick off returns.

I would trade him for Percy Harvin or Jeremy Maclin or Hakim Nicks...oh wait, we already traded them away (amoung additonal players) when we traded for Roy in the first place!

Ted Ginn's speed and change of direction would be a perfect fit... get the old Witten back thats for sure!

Guy can dream...

Romo couldnt hit Ginn in stride to save his life. And I would hate to see underthrown deep balls to him too.

Maybe not Roy but definitely Carpenter. He's going to be a free agent soon anyway and I would rather have a PR/KR with that kind of juice than a nickel linebacker. I also think Parcells trades for him since he was one of his pet cats.
