Who would you draft in this scenario?

Chaisson isn’t on the same planet in relation to Bosa as a prospect. Bosa’s pass rush win rate was in the 20s almost every year at OSU and he also had double the amount of pressures of Chaison’s best season.

You need to dig a little deeper into the numbers.
I'd be interested in seeing that do you have a link? Are those official stats or something a third part compiled? Either way it's hard to argue with twice as many tackles per game and tackles are an official stat.

Chaisson is a reach.
My gut agrees with you. Although most draft rankings have him somewhere in the 15-25 range.

Personally, I would draft down and look at Gross-Matos, or one of the DT. I really like Gallimore.

Just google both players and you can find it. PFF generally tracks pressures for top edge prospects.

Bosa has 69 in one of his better years, and Chaisson had 35 last year. Like I said, not even close.

Lot of Chaisson chatter. I would be good with him and I would be good with passing on him.

I ended up taking Grant Delpit who nobody mentioned. Interesting. Years of wanting a legit FS who could play single high safety caught up with me. Haha is only on a 1 year deal. ...and both are interchangeable Safety types, so I had to do it. Finally can get over the loss of not bringing in Earl Thomas.

I'm gonna try to trade up for Baun, who I like more than Chaisson. Wish me luck!

Some here are wary of Chaisson for some reason, Dallas cannot make another first round blunder like we did with Taco and Hill. So I am a bit worried about who actually makes the picks. hopefully it's McClay and our new coach also has a say. Keep Jerrah home and signing the ckecks.

WAIT a minute !!!!!!

Miami didnt get a QB at 5, Herbert and Love are still on the board, and Miami holds 18, which means they will be likely to take one next.

Should absolutely be able to swing a deal down in this case with someone who wants a QB.

If I have to take a player here its Herbert, but Jerry would never in a million years go that way.

If somehow this happens and Jerry doesnt deal out that means they have a very high grade on Chaisson and they take him.

This scenario is a VERY fine example BTW of exactly how close Dallas is to the serious talent dropoff at 16-17.

It's quite clear to me anyway.

If 3-4 QBs and OTs dont go top 16 we will have just missed on everyone discussed.

Really need 2-3 surprises....maybe someone loving Love, maybe RB Swift going top 16, not sure, but each one of those type of things help.
