No rushing stats? Interesting to say the least.Let's have some fun:
Playoffs:
Lamar:
220.7 YPG
6 TDs/6 INTs
Dak:
280.3 YPG
14 TDs/7 INTs
Someone help this guy out, he's emotional.Lamar has not had the better team. Dak has had the better team. And Daks stats are all inflated. They all come in the 4th quarter after he has stunk it up for 3 quarters.
The Joneses never made Dak even a partial free agent. He was always on the exclusive tag. The Ravens would have considered moving on from Lamar if another team signed him to a contract.. Don’t let the media fool you. The Ravens and Lamar had a tough negotiation. Dak and the Cowboys never had any animosity in the media even though the media tried to make up stuff.Wasnt Lamar a free agent? At least restricted and nobody made him an offer.
Bingo. Here is a more pertinent question - Can Lamar and Dak both be disappointing?
They are both incomplete quarterbacks but Lamars rushing talent exceeds Daks passing abilityLamar Jackson is younger than Prescott, has won an MVP, has rushed for multiple 1000 yard seasons as a QB, and has at least played in a conference title game.
I'd take that bet any day, because you are dreaming. There are exactly ZERO non-Cowboys franchises that would take Dak over Lamar just on upside still left in their careers alone.
Nope. He wouldn't. Harbaugh is Lamar's biggest fan.Harbaugh would trade Lamar for Dak straight up w/o hesitation.
Not to mention, Lamar can actually beat SF...lolSure, how many 1000 yard rushing seasons does Dak have? MVP awards? Conference title game appearances?
Whoops!
Context matters.Wasnt Lamar a free agent? At least restricted and nobody made him an offer.
Is there any doubt there was behind the scenes collusion with Lamar? There is no way that some of those horrible teams would not have gone after him as they live in QB Hell. The Joneses never made Dak even a partial free agent. He was always on the exclusive tag. The Ravens would have considered moving on from Lamar if another team signed him to a contract.. Don’t let the media fool you. The Ravens and Lamar had a tough negotiation. Dak and the Cowboys never had any animosity in the media even though the media tried to make up stuff.
Good points by all involved but I think Lamar has been more disappointing. His team and organization and coach and defense is better. His running game is WAY better.
Also...Dak can get his team across 20 points. Against Rodgers and McVay he did that. Lamar has yet to cross the 17 point threshold in his 4 playoff losses.
But...why really is Josh Allen exempt from this conversation? Dude had 186 yards in his most recent playoff game.
Against the Bengals, he got the ball past midfield 5 times and came away with 10 points - not sure he's been playing much better than either.
What are you talking about? It's exactly as I prefer...no catfights all opinionsWell this thread did not end up like the OP wanted
Jackson last year lost to the eventual SB champion. Dak lost to a WC teamBingo.
I would also look at the strength of the playoff teams they played and won against
Lamars 2 wins are against Tennessee and Houston
Daks 2 wins are against Tampa and Seattle
No powerhouses ,were those teams.....
so Lamar gets all the excuses, but Dak doesn't. so are you blaming Dak for losing to Rodgers and GB?Dak has been more disappointing.
Lamar had his team in position to win the last playoff game, but the receiver fumbled the ball.
Dak never shows up at all versus tough teams.
Dak wasn't even competitive against a WC team.so Lamar gets all the excuses, but Dak doesn't. so are you blaming Dak for losing to Rodgers and GB?
How about the loss to Rams after giving up 257 yards on the ground?
Dak is 2-5, Lamar is right behind him at 2-4.
everything else is an excuse...according to you
does it matter? as I have heard close, not close didn't matter....its about the record.Dak wasn't even competitive against a WC team.
