I know the focus here has been on the HC search, but I for one am worried about who's buying the groceries from here on out.

People can slam Parcells for underachieving if they want but noone can debate the team of Parcells and Ireland were a dramatic improvement from when Jerry was in charge of drafting.

The question is, how does it work going forward? I'd be in favor of giving Jeff Ireland a raise and a a change in title and let him run the draft. Thoughts?

wasn't there some talk about bringing lacewell back as an advisor? me thinks lacewell got a bad rap. he did find some players that went on to have long somewhat successful careers like randall godfrey, oliver ross, ekuban, kavika pittman, matt lehr, willie jackson, peppi zellner, omar stoutmire and antonio bryant. just because we gave up on them doesnt mean they were wasted picks.
