I know some of you will bash me for this but who cares. If you think this group of heartless spineless chumps can pull off more then 8 wins next season (and that's stretching it a bit) you have to take a good hard look at this season. I know I know allot of our guys are coming back but still it means nothing if this team is not on the same page. Next season we are facing I think 5 0r more teams that are sitting pretty in the playoffs this year. We are bringing back the worst coaching staff that I have ever seen and our owner does not give a **** about anything that’s not green with dollar signs on it. I have seen some bad cowboy teams over the yrs but nothing as bad as this. 9-7 isn’t as bad as 5-11 or 3-13 but its horrible considering the fact that you were pick to go all the way. The talent is there. On paper we are the best team in the NFL but unfortunately paper can't play the game for us. I hate the team the cowboys have become but I'm still a fan and I will be in front of the TV every game pissed off and throwing my lucky cowboys hat (that I forgot to bring with me Sunday to my friends house) on the ground while screaming "just run with the damn ball Tony don’t just stand there!!" I really hope I’m wrong about this but I as well as many of you invested allot of time and emotions in this season and I can’t take yet another huge disappointment like we had the past 12 or 13 seasons but the past 2 season hurt more then anything.

maybe not at best but certainly is possibility.

If this team did not have the injuries, they win one more game and make playoffs, but it would have masked the reality of what the Cowboys are: an undisciplined, unaccountable, weak hearted, soft, free for all of a team.

Some players (Tank, PacMan) need to go. If we are stuck with Wade, then we need some assistants that will get in your face. And that probably won't matter either.

I say 9-7.

For the billionth time... Where is the justification for this?

At least maybe this little Cowboys recession will clear out a lot of the dead wood.

I am not going to set my expectations high. I am looking at 5-11 next year.

your right having all of our guys would have helped but honestly looking at it we most likly would have lost in the first round. this team doesnt want to work to win championships they want to be sitting back at home and open the mail and have a ring sent gift wrapped to them. they dont know the meaning of a good work ethic

Yeah, unfortuantely next year's "continuity" has 5-11 written all over it. I hope that it doesn't come to that, but Jerry maintains that all coaches and almost all players are coming back. I really don't know how Jerry expects any thing different.

At least we'll have a third place schedule next season. Surely that is what helped teams like Atlanta and Miami do so well this year. We'll see.

I can certainly see why everyone believes we'll be bad next year. I'm going to say we're 10-6 next year, at least, just to buck the trend and be more positive. :p

The truth. Another problem with this team, they believe the hype. They've been saying that same junk all season about being the best team on paper and have yet to prove it. These guys cant humble themselves for nada.

I agree with first round loss. This play in game exposed the Boys for everything they will never be.

I don't know, this year's team laid an egg to the second worst team in all of football, the Rams. Got blown out actually, and the Rams haven't won a game since then.

This collection of couch trippers can find a way to make even the worst of chumps look like SB contenders for one game.

Until we see all the changes/additions/subtractions to this team I don't see how any can say what our record will be next year.

As long as JJ runs this team the way he wants, we'll never see a SB again.

As long as Tonya Romo QB's this team we'll never see a playoff game again.

I completely agree with you about King Jerra.

I disagree with you about Romo, especially if we should be so lucky as to have Stephen Jones take over as owner. Romo is a talented QB, and given a real coach who knows how to keep Romo real and keep him focused, he will be a great QB. Romo deserves plenty of blame this year, but I think given the right coach and owner, Romo could win a few Super Bowls.

I agree that Romo needs a mentor and apparently doesn't have one. Garrett and Wade Wilson don't seem to be helping him much. Troy had Norv. I wouldn't mind if Jerry hired someone whose sole responsibility is to help develop Romo.
