Its an offensive weapon and then we will be done in FA, this draft will fill be about filling some voids.
Dallas and Denver could have some talks going on right now.

I don’t even need blockbuster. Just add reasonable players that will help. Give me Mecole Hardman and A’Shon Robinson or Andrew Billings and I’m a happy camper going into the draft.

I'm not sure who.... but I bet they'll be 32/33 or up.....and USED to be really good 2 or 3 years ago.

And they'll be wanting us to pay him like it's 2018. And we will.

Probably for Diggs and Ceedee
Why would they extend CD now, they have a 5th year option on him.

Aint that the advantage of taking guys in the first round, so you have a 5th year?

Seems like it would be kinda dumb to draft somebody in the first round and give them an extension after just 3 seasons, defeats the whole purpose doesnt it?

They almost never extend early. A 5th year option is there for a reason so why not use it?
Diggs is the only one we have to start thinking about but I doubt it happens before the off season

Extend Dak I bet.
That does not make any sense, Dak was one of the contracts they restructured to free up cap space.

You dont restructure a guys contract to free up cap space in order to then give that same guy an extension.

Exactly..........They have a 5th year on Lamb, Parsons is not even eligible yet, and even if you give Diggs an extension it would not kick in until after his rookie contract expires, meaning you still would not need any large cap space for him this year.

In other words, there is no plausible reason for restructuring multiple contracts to free up $20+ million in cap space THIS YEAR for extensions for those guys. You also are not going to restructure contracts to free up cap space to "roll over" into next season and you dont need near this amount of cap space for draft picks, not when you are getting an additional $11 million after June 1st from the Zeke cut, which is more than enough by itself to sign your entire draft class.

The only logical explanation for needing this much cap space right now is to be able to absorb a large contract through either trade/free agency.
