No reason. You don’t really restructure the future deals like Smith for “future deals” when they simply fall off the books. Same with Tank

Why are we worry about these guys. They all still on rookie contracts for two years plus you have 5th options and the tag and the cap goes up every year. Plus you don’t know all three could have career ending injuries at anytime. Or worse. Need to do what is necessary to make the run next year. Idk this whole idea of holding money back so we can be just good enough to go 9-8 and get lucky in the playoffs needs to stop. Time to be elite not Enept

I would do Lamb first. Corners are easy to replace unless it a lockdown corner and diggs is not a lockdown corner. He is more like a burnt like toast corner. He gets burnt like the marshmallow guy from ghostbusters atleast twice a game. Not to mention the intentionally missed tackles

So where are they going to go with this, offense or defense. Still need good DT, still need a WR which are the keys for a better season.

Freeing up some $18 million today for use now and another $10 million after June 1st. No DT left in FA is going to cost an avg 10 million a year and nobody is trading one. My guess is Hankins and Watkins are back on 1 yr deals.

That leaves WR and don't see Jerry paying O'Dell some 20 million a year. Could see a deal for Jerry Jeudy for a 2nd, no higher or Hopkins for a 4th.

Still need an OG. Should be a guy like Risner as a bridge to a draft pick.
