He's not necessarily the bigger threat if there was already someone positioned to "cover" him. Obviously the guy that goes uncovered altogether is a bigger 'threat" in that case.

Now that doesnt mean the defender Roy stopped in front of when he saw Crumpler come off the line shouldnt have been the one to cover the FB in the first place..but the point is there was a defender in decent enough position to try and cover Crumpler even if Roy would've kept on going out wide along with the FB.

Thats how I remember watching the play unfold on re-plays.. but maybe I was just seeing things.. and I dont have a way to look at it again.
Ware was beaten off the line of scrimmage, he held, Crumpler still was open.(Ware may have just been responsible for jamming him) The qb was staring Crumpler down waiting for him to get open, thats why Roy chose to hit him. He was in a no win situation, because someone else blew their assignment.

They are also getting "picked" which is illegal, but very easy to do.
I've watched the plays I thought were in question and don't recall this at all. Which plays are you referring to?

Always loved watching the "Really Big Shoe" when I was a kid. Elvis, The Beatles, and who could forget Senor Wences:

S'alright

I've never seen that, and so I never knew the inspiration for South Park's Jennifer Lopez episode.

Learn something new all the time.

Eh, who knows.

You originally were responding to someone who was making a blanket statement about all the FB plays in that game, basically.

I was just referring to a particular one. I'm not sure if we're even talkin bout the same one.

Whatever though.. lets just hope it gets corrected.
