I picked the Cowboys vs Chargers 3 straight years from 1980-82, we made it to the NFC Championship game all 3 times and the Chargers made it to the AFC Championship game twice. I came close 3 times but neither team made it to the SB in those years.

In the 70s I kept picking the Cowboys & Raiders but it never happened either.

Yeah, I think it was 1981, we should have beaten SF and SD was the best team in the AFC, but got stuck playing the Bengals in 20 below 0 temperatures, and lost.

San Diego going back to the old AFL. They were very good on offense with John Hadl, Keith Lincoln, Paul Lowe and Lance Alworth.

Colts because they do it through working harder and smarter. Have to respect that.

I have started to like the Bills only because I have gone to a Bills game every year for the last 8 years. The fans really have spirit for a team that is so bad.

Wow, self imposed punishment must suck something fierce! :laugh2:

Colts.

Fun team to watch.

I live near Houston. No way I could pull for the Texans. They're still talking down here about the Texans beating the Cowboys their first game. They HATE the Cowboys. No way I'd cheer for them.

San Diego. If I weren't already a 'Boys fan during the early 80's I probably would be a Chargers' supporter. I loved the Air Coryell days and have always wanted them to do well (except against us)! I don't consider myself a "fan" though, I only have enough love in me for one team...;)

I too liked the air coryell days. Don't really have any feelings for them now though.

I guess my answer would be, any team in the AFC that beats the Steelers, Packers, 49ers, Eagles, Skins or giants.:p:

Denver I suppose. They're fun to play in Superbowls and I used to live there (although I hated them with a passion while living there.)

Bengals
Grew up just North of Cincinnati. Cowboys always been #1, but also still follow the Bengals.

Colts is my 2nd AFC team. Lived there for a while. Great place.
Plus when I lived in Florida, I rooted for all AFC East teams to beat the Dolphins. [when the Colts were in that division, before they reformatted them]

Ditto on the Dolphins. Dan Marino was actually my favorite QB when I was a kid until Aikman came along. I also loved the Oilers back in the early 90's. I hate the Texans, however.

what? people have to keep interest once we either fail to make the playoffs or get knocked out in the 1st round lately.
