There is a lot of great talent in this years draft, this will be a difficult decision on which way they will want to go. Obviously if you're going to let Hardy walk, I would want to shore his position up with Bosa. Although I like Ramsey as well as Hargreaves, I'm just scared of picking another DB that high after the Claiborne fiasco. If you're going offense, do you pick Goff if he's still there or Paxton Lynch? I'm not so sure on either of those guys, but one of them will most likely be available. I can't say that I'd be upset if they feel as if either one of them is the franchise for the future. Now we're down to my favorite player, Laquon Treadwell. I didn't know how well he would do after that gruesome injury to his leg his sophomore year, but seeing him bounce back the way he did this year, I would be jumping for joy if we got him. He is basically a Dez clone without the baggage. It's a scary thought of having Treadwell opposite Dez. Any direction this team wants to choose, it's going to be hard to screw this draft pick up............I think. Thoughts?

trade down.

maybe we get a #10-12th pick and another high 2nd rounder.

No Goff no Lynch. Wasted investment. We dont need an QB who can essentially start from day one. We plan to develop one. We can get this guy much cheaper.

Bosa, Treadwell, Ragland, Tunsil, Ezekiel....there are several guys that would be great additions. Perhaps trading down a few spots?

Obviously, if one of these quarterbacks is the next Rodgers, I want that guy. But the chances are remote that any of them are special, and the team will be totally different by the time he's ready.

Bosa or Hargreaves at #4. Option: Try to trade down a little and pick up Elliott.

I like to look for comparisons. Other than Rodgers, what QB was drafted in the 1st round, sat a little? Also, sat a little and was good?

Hopefully either Goff or Lynch are there. I would prefer Lynch...far more upside. But, I wouldn't have a problem with Goff who is a better pure passer at this point.

If they're not available, I'm probably looking at SS or the MIKE. So that would either be Ramsey or Jack/Ragland. But, that depends on what we do in FA. I can see us taking Weddle and having bigger needs at the MIKE. If that happens, then I'm more inclined to trade down so we can pick up Wentz in the late 1st round.

Almost nobody. Therein lies the problem.

Some years, there just isn't an NFL quarterback worthy of a first-round pick.

I think you have to think about trading down. IMO-- Cook is the most well rounded QB, and best competitor of the top 3. He may not have the physical tools of Goff or Lynch, but I like his grit and with 2-3 years behind Romo, he may be just what the Dr ordered.

The bottom line is that as bad as this season has been-- we are drafting high, have a bunch of comp picks as well as some cap room. We can make some moves to shore up this team and be ready to compete next year.

I can only think of 2, Rodgers and McNair. Both were successful, but I do not think that is a big enough sample size to go with. That would mean, if you were drafted in the 1st round, and sat atleast 1yr, 100% of the time you were a SB caliber QB. Which we all know, is not 100% going to happen.

This draft should be quite simple to me. You do your due diligence on the QBs and if you decide one is a franchise guy and he is there, you take him. Easy decision to me. If you don't think they are franchise QBs, you look to trade down and pick multiple skill position players in the top 3 rounds. They need a top tier WR and RB early in this draft. Grab a QB in the middle rounds to compete with Moore as the 3rd string after getting a veteran for the backup job. Snag an OL and return specialist along the way in between drafting DL, safeties, Lbs, and cbs with the rest of the picks. Sounds simple but we don't actually have to do it, do we?

I think, you are only allowed a maximum of like 3 or 4 comp picks, and I think they are a bunch of 6th rders.

I like it, IF you do not like the QBs, I like the idea of picking an elite WR. Also, return specialist needs to be addressed!

As of right now, Paxton Lynch.. but I reserve the right to change my mind.
